Fairy River

Stayed here last weekend with husband and 5 year old granddaughter. What a lovely experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Fairy Woman cabin and it was perfect. Everything we needed and really cosy and warm with a comfortable bed for 3! ☺️ With all the wee fairy homes in the trees our granddaughter came away convinced that she actually saw the fairies. And maybe she did! Nice wee farm part to view some animals which was good too. Definitely recommend and we will return.

Unbelievable place, pictures don't do it justice, the kids eyes lit up after walking down the hill and seeing cottage 2 for the first time, the kids loved seeing the fairy houses along the way and doing the fairy walk and opening the signs, I'm not sure who had more fun me or them even the farm has everything, unfortunately they can't be petted as the kids wanted to, they loved all animals but their favourite was the alpacas, they said if they owned them they'd call them salt and pepper, (not sure what their names are), the park was good fun for them going down the zipline and on the swings and slides fantastic all round, only 1 problem I have about fairy river is.......I have to go back to reality tomorrow..... Definitely will be back for longer next time.Thanks for having us

Just back from a 2 night stay with my wife.Literally couldn't recommend the place any more.From the moment I booked it through to the moment we left it was a great experience.Plenty of good useful communication from Conor with some great recommendations for places in the area which we used quite a bit.The place itself is breath taking, they have thought of everything.Cabins are fantastic and have everything you need already there from cutlery, tvs, fridge cooking equipment and even a cake to have with some tea.The woodwork inside the cabins and the furniture outside is nothing short of amazing.Its spotless and is a great location for walks into the mournes and many other things.Geat value for money and we will definitely be back.

Truly unique experience and a restful break for all the senses from the tranquility of the river flowing outside the cottage to the stunning scenery.We have already booked next year's trip and can't wait.

Fantastic 2 day break. Absolutely perfect for kids. The little farm, the park with a zip line was a hit for my 8 year old son. The scenery driving to this place was breathe taking. The cabin was so cute!! Every detail down to the mugs! Little witches cauldrons. The attention to detail was second to none. Spotless, comfy beds. Facilities to even make a cooked breakfast each morning. Amazing find and personally the price for me was brilliant. Most places charge nearly £200 a night! Best mini break we've had in a long time. This place is absolutely magical with fabulous views and peaceful surroundings. Relax and enjoy the beauty of the Mournes in a first class gorgeous cabin. Enjoy a walk along a mountain path, visit the animals in the little farm or just sit and listen to the sounds of the countryside. One thing is for sure...the fairies are everywhere! Will definitely be back.

There's simply nowhere nicer to be on a short break with the kids than Fairy River. It's now a tradition for us that we make it back here every year. It has everything to offer young and old alike. Beautiful scenery, breathtaking views and is set in a really tranquil, safe location for little ones. Highly recommended as always!

Had the absolute best time at fairy river Glamping, the area is beautiful and the accommodation is even better!! The cottages are so homey and enchanting and the attention to detail is outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for more and will most definitely be returning!

This was a lovely 2nights away with our children 2yrs-9yrs. The cottage itself was very charming and beautifully decorated and furnished. Very clean and had everything we needed, bedding, extra blankets, hairdryer and all kitchen utensils etc. Buns on arrival which the kids loved. We did the fairy trail, played in the park and walked around to view the animals. The kids loved it. Good TV channels and netflix too for the evening! Very close to Kilkeel if you need to go to Asda for anything.
