Franks Redcar and JD Flooring contractors. I was happy with a quote. Paid for the flooring( Kährs LVT )then when the fitter came I was advised that finishing strips weren't in my quote, despite asking the sale person Connah for everything to be done and included as we were buying the very best flooring they had to offer for a family home to last a long time. The fitters attitude was awful and when he arrived he was of no help and told me I needed to take up my floor and told me I was told this by franks flooring. I was never told this and having 0 experience in fitting floors would never have expected to remove my own flooring. I'd have happily paid for this if I'd have been told but was not. I paid over the phone and was never given a receipt. I went to the store, Connahs gave me a refund immediately and said sorry about that" and that was all. We had prepped the rooms

Staff immediately greeted us yet left us to browse, checking in with us to see if any help was needed. Once the carpet was picked the service was fast and efficient with delivery and fitting in a week! Cannot recommend highly enough

Sept 19th 2023Just had vinyl laid in the bathroom. The white flooring was so well laid, our old green bath looked better as the base is much tidier now.Peter and his colleague did a wonderful job so it was basically a make over.The vinyl fitted in straight lines despite the walls not being straight.AugustAndy and his Dad have just finished transforming my downstairs.It's beautiful. They levelled up a concrete floor, tidied up 2 steps as well as doing three floors.They did another floor a few years ago, so very pleased they came back.

Let me be very honest, I have never known customer service like this, after being told my appointment had been cancelled on the day, on the day of fitting I had a professional come look at the fitting, he could not believe the state in which it had been left, they turned up with out the relevant items this was the stores fault in Redcar, the vinyl did not reach the side of the skirting boards, it was not even stuck to the floor as you can see in the pictures. If you want a high quality fitting please use some where else, we are left to pay for beading to cover it, as for the fitting through to the other room wow what a joke, the attitude of the manager very bad, who even had the cheek to charge us for door bars which when got dropped off where bent. Be warned ⚠️ I couldn't fault the carpet fitting in fairness. Will never be using them ever again ....

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent choice of flooring all at a affordable price. Not my first visit and won't be my last.
