Amy Nails

I have been coming to Amy’s nails for 13 years.Never once have I had a bad experience. Always happy with my nails, they have not once broken or chipped, which is why I return here around every 4-5 weeks for an infill.Staff are all very polite and welcoming.I’ve never once heard them be rude or anything of the sort to any other customers, they are always happy to have customers through the door.I would very much recommend them.Lovely , friendly people.A*

Not only the owner was racist he was rude and stared to swear at me. He didn’t give me the design I wanted then overcharged me. When I pointed it out he said he was going to call the police.

It was very dirty. All the equipment wasn’t sterilised and after cutting the false nails, he wiped them on the floor. Not only this, but he asked for my religious views and proceeded to critics my beliefs. I would not go there again due to the patronising behaviour. “Darling” and “sweetheart”. To be fair, my nails ended up ok, but I was charged £35 for simple acrylics and french tips. I am not going again.

Booked in for biab toe and finger infill (quoted 60 pounds)Arrived and they started filing my current biab on my nails off and then after filing told me that they don’t do biab and that acrylic is better - I have been on my biab journey for a year - this is now completely ruined as I had no option but to get acrylic due to going on holiday this evening. They also charged me extra for removing the biab (that I didn’t want removing just infilling). I actually left after my nails were done to get my toes done elsewhere.Very upsetting and expensive experience. The lady doing my nails was lovely and kind and did a good job but the salon itself shouldn’t offer things they don’t have as this has now messed up my nail journey. I have ultimately paid 40 pounds for my nails to be back to where they were a whole year ago.

i was told the price was £20, got argued with and scammed, the nails i wanted were refused and they were rough with my nails. the man was vaping in the same room as children and was extremely patronising, calling us darling and sweetheart whenever he had a different opinion. He also sat there and told me my christianity was wrong and that heaven is all fake and i tell myself it’s true to calm me down before i die. Plain rude and dirty. Never again.

I went in the nail shop recently, and wanted long acrylic nails but than the guy who did my nails said it would be stupid if you had long and charged me another 20 quid as t says outside its 20 quid for acrylic so over all I paid 40 quid for cheap nails and they already feel like there falling off after 2 days and my cuticles on my nail is so high up , and the man was offering alcohol to customers whilst doing my nails , he was rude and asking me questions about my life choices. Do not recommended going here

would give 0 if i could went in here with my friend, staff were rude. when the were filing the ridges of my nails the id it that hard that they cut my skin and when i began to bleed he did not apologizes he just kinda said opps and wiped it away with his finger witch is just gross. and second the salon was dirty the equipment used was dirty. they also sent me away with the gel on my nails still wet before leaving i said to them there still went and he told me its just the oil used on my skin. i then ended up with these fluffy nails so i went back in the following day to complain and show them again very rude and he offered to take them off for me i agreed and asked for a full refund to witch i was refused and only given back half of my money. don't go here its a waste of your time and money.

I've been so put off of acrylic extensions by terrible work done in the past, in other bail bars. They were always too thick, bumpy and cheap looking... However, I can't be more happy than I am with with nails I've had done here at Amy's! I have really flat, wide nail beds naturally, and know it's hard to make these look elegant. The shape, thickness and polish are all perfect. Plus, the woman that did them was so fast! I'm seriously happy and will definitely go here again.

terrible nails 3 times in a row, breakages every time, looking. looked nothing like what i asked for, they are all about the money, staff don't know a word of english , refilling the nail polishes up with nail varnish thinner! that's why 3 times in a row my varnish was chipping , and within 3 days the nails were a mess, after 4 visits over nearly 6 weeks to keep getting put right, and over £100 ! i will never ever go in there again.

Absolutely brilliant at nails couldn’t have had a better experience feel so relaxed always made feel comfortable would definitely recommend to anyone who wants cheap top quality nails
