Horrendous service received by the blonde lady at reception. Complaint made to NHS...

wont give the meds you ask for. wont do CBT. talking helps are hopeless. don't really care if you have anxiety attacks. useless like all dr's. keep referring to the mental health team who say go recoco. useful when u have a job. been a milion times get nowhere.

Doctors are amazing, all staff are. However, there is only one doctor full time and one doctor who works 1 day per week. Really isn’t enough. No female doctors anymore either.Can take a while for appointments due to the lack of doctors. Which is my only concern.

Whilst I was a student at Newcastle University a few years ago I was registered at this doctors. I had an amazing experience with Doctor Rye when I was ill one time. She was so lovely and caring, she made sure I could get home ok and even called me the following day to see if I was feeling any better and to make sure I was being looked after. I never had an issue making an appointment at this surgery and everyone I spoke with were really friendly.

Brilliant GP practice service from the receptionists, nurses and doctors. Found everyone super helpful and never had any problems getting appointments.

The reception staff here are amazing. So helpful and friendly - exactly what you want as the first point of contact. My experience with one of the doctors was less pleasant but still helpful.

Very late appointments, always full

I went to register at the practice on 25th January. When I handed in the completed forms, the blonde lady in her 60s (?) at reception checked my post code, and said that they cover my area, and it will take between 5-10 days to add me to their system. 3 weeks later this morning I called them up to ask if I am able to make an appointment as I've been ill for over a month now, and they said they haven't managed to register me yet, as the practice is very busy. A few hours later the receptionist called me back to say that I have to register with a differrent GP as they don't cover my area. Bear in mind, that their website says that they take people from my postcode. I did explain that they'd already accepted my registration. The same lady that took my completed forms and checked my ID 3 weeks ago, now asked me to repeat my DOB, name and address 4 times - probably pretending to have absolutely no clue about the situation - and all she could say that I am not in their system. Of course not, my registration forms are still probably sitting on their desk.I can't believe that at this time and age this is how people in the healthcare system treat patients. I barely go to the GP and if I happen to need medical care once every 2-3 years, it's impossible to get registered, let alone make an appointment.It's shameful how this lady handled this situation and I hope that others won't have to deal with her.
