I recently received my pair of Woodford desert boots in sand Kudu suede and I'm very pleased. They look great and they are clearly made to a high standard that remains true to the original design. The Kudu suede from CF Stead is buttery soft and the boots are as comfortable as slippers. I'd recommend the Crown shoe trees to help keep them in shape and the Saphir Medaille D'or Protector, especially as I expect them to last a few years. Crown are a friendly and attentive bunch and special thanks to Lucy and Chris for their assistance.

I have received the third pair of sneakers, this time is a Gat sneakers of the jazz collection! This sneaker wears like a glove, a light weight shoe in a super soft leather. to confirm that yours sneakers are the best that money can buy. For sure I will purchase again and again.Very very happy with your shoes. I had second pair a month ago, pure luxury sneakers. Both are overstone, one is the classic white version, and one the blue kudu suede in TL version. Many many pros for sure.the only cons in my opinion on the TL version, because of a very very very soft suede leather, it is bit loose/wide on ankle support. Other than that, exceptional quality. I will buy for sure again.

I received my white Harlestone Handstitch shoes today.It was well worth the wait for a pair of handmade sneakers. They look, smell and feel like a million dollars.110% satisfied.The nicest storage bags I've ever seen.

I discovered Crown Northampton from watching Rose Anvil on YouTube and the Kavalier. Sizing is difficult for me due to my uncommonly miniature feet, but Crown Northamptons make their footwear in my size! Emailing Crown for info was easy (Lucy was very helpful). My first order for the Overstone Derby in Horween No 8 Chromexcel was placed May 19th. My pair arrived July 6th. It took a little longer than their original listed lead time (10 to 25 business days), but they emailed me in advance to let me know. My Overstones fit wonderfully with room for my toes. They are very well made and comfortable out of the box.I have just received my second pair of Crowns. I ordered the Woodford Desert Boot in natural Chromexcel October 26th, and have received them December 15th. Again, the boot is very well made. The material is top notch, and comfort is fantastic. A huge plus is all Crown Northampton footwear can be resoled. Highly recommended if you're looking for well-made, high quality, comfortable and long lasting footwear.

Even though the quality of material used is good, the overall fit and finish is very poor. There are tool marks everywhere on the shoe. The soles look used. At some places soles are broken. There are black marks at places on white sneakers. Someone did a very poor job and so the soles have white paint at some places while the soles were gum soles. Leather is not pulled properly, so looks weird. Overall quality is nowhere close to the cost. I would suggest never to listen to paid promoters such as rose anvil on YouTube and don’t buy overpriced garbage.

Sometimes in life you just have to treat yourself. Handmade, looks good, feels good, exceptional quality so pleased we still have great British craftsmanship alive and well in the 21st Century. I will definitely order another pair.

The most incredible experience….I was interested in these shoes but to be sure about size I went to the factory in Northampton. I was expecting a quick tour and shoe fit. What I got was one of the most special experiences of my life. Chris, the latest owner of the company his great great grandfather started, is doing magical things: hand stitching, Horween leather from Chicago, Kudu Suede, valuing his employees to the point of developing a shoe that required even more labour, craft over profit, details details details, training, Buffalo ink (oh that blue!), tanneries from Dorset using oak bark from Wales. All with good reason: excellence. The man’s pursuit is mind boggling. This is just a tiny part of it all. If someone doesn’t do what Chris is doing, it will get lost. I already loved shoes, but now! On a practical level I’m glad I went as we determined I needed the wide fitting (G) but the magic, oh the magic! Thank you Chris.PS The two I bought are so beautiful I considered wearing one of each today!

My Grove Desert Shoes in Horween no8 Chromexcel arrived yesterday and these are easily the best quality and fitting shoes I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is incredible. The service from Lindsay at Crown was much appreciated as she helped me with ordering the right size and fitting.

After looking at the company online, as I wanted a high-quality shoes, I arranged a visit to the factory to try on the shoes for sizing as I had never bought a pair before, which was easy as Crown Northampton (CN) were very accommodating. I didn't realise that I would have the pleasure of meeting the Founder/ Managing Director, Chris Woodford who took me on a tour through the factory which was great. One of the brilliant things about direct-to-consumer is the speed of response and knowledge of the product.As I had lots of questions about my options and the products once I had left the factory and over 2 months, I asked Yasmin questions to which she was great in responding and helping me come to my final decision on my order which was the Everdon Wholecut Mid boot. I like the fact that you can modify the boot to your preference (do so in the notes" section when purchasing) The Horween Buffalo leather is wonderful and delivery time is fine (expect within 3-4 months) For the price you pay for premium materials
