Great place to come and watch some local cricket. Patrons and staff are always friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Bring my family here whenever Darlington CC are playing at home.

Just been to my youngest grandsons christening party here really nice room with its own small bar and double opening doors almost straight on to the cricket pitch, with seating outside adjacent to the pitch. A nice, tidy and clean venue with cheerful staff.

Venue easy to find, bar a little pricey. Buffet little disappointed.

The cask beer - currently Wainwrights - and the 'room temperature' Guinness are too cold for my taste, but cask beer is otherwise well-kept.

Members can benefit from discounts and are able to watch cricket matches throughout the season. However guest can go to the club as long as they are with a member. They have a great function room at the back of the building over looking the cricket ground, but again a member has to nominate for the booking

Great ground, felt very comfortable on our first visit. Will be back plenty over the summer. Clubhouse looks reasonably new and shows Sky Sports. Reasonable prices.

Newly refurbished. Lovely place for a quiet drink. Three large screens showing sport. Also a function room available for party's.

My daughter hired their function room for her 30th party. During the evening a couple of the youngest guests (19-20 yrs old) were found to be drinking their own alcohol and were severely reprimanded by the barmaid and the bottle confiscated. Which we totally agree should not have happened and we thought had been adequately dealt with. Next thing we know the lady ‘chairman of the committee ‘ comes in the room, grabs the dj mike, stops the party completely and announces to all the 70 guests that the 2 lads (and identifies them) have been drinking their own spirits and then orders them to leave the premises. Totally embarrassing for everyone in the room and completely ruined the atmosphere of the party. Absolutely no need and extreme to say the least. The ‘Chairman’ could have spoken to my daughter (the host) and asked her to ask the 2 guests to leave quietly but instead chose to publicly humiliate them. Totally over the top and out of order as all the remaining (now angry) guests agreed. I would also add that if this had been 2 grown men she would not have had this approach. Maybe if there had been more than 1 barmaid on serving drinks for 70 ppl the lads wouldn't have resorted to drinking their own. Basically if you want a party run by Atilla the Hun then choose this venue. My advice is stay clear
