A small museum with friendly volunteers. Of interest to me was the exhibition of the Guinea Pig Club, the groundbreaking treatment developed by Sir Archibald McIndoe and the Queen Victoria Hospital where severely burnt aircrew were treated. Its free to visit and there is the opportunity to make a small donation to ensure the story Guinea Pig Club is told.

This is a fascinating local museum, especially the room about the Gujnea Pig Club, to which we have a family connection. Thanks to volunteer Bob M, who showed us around, we got a lot more out of our visit than a previous one. It's well worth a visit.

Visited especially to see the Guinea Pig Club exhibition. Made really welcome by the museum staff. A really lovely local museum that details the history of the town. The Guinea Pig Club exhibition tells the story of the the hospital, the men, and staff with great compassion. Well worth a visit

Quaint small museum. East Grinstead is mostly famous for MacIndoe a famous plastic surgeon. Nice exhibition and video about his work.We had a parking issue, the lady at the desk solved it for us. The people of the museum are extremely nice. It was a very good visit. Entrance is free.
