Frankly speaking, it is one of the best in the North East, inviting decorations, friendly staffs,good atmosphere and location is great.I have been there in May 2023 and have experienced sensational times.

Not sure how this place manages to stay open, never seems to be busy. It's an old school Whitley night out, cheesy and good fun if you're hammered. The clientele is very young, feel out of place if you're over 25.

Very poorly managed, horrendous racket when they turn out at 2am, noise worse than a school playground, screaming and shouting in an area with hotels where people are sleeping (or trying to!). What are security doing when all this is going on? This place really shouldn't be licensed.

Cheap drinks makes it worth going to. However, the second floor doesn't open until 11.30, so plan around that as its much better upstairs.

Outstanding, One of South Parade's oldest bars now - very well managed, excellent drink selection including proper Gin and mixers, great music and friendly bar and door staff. Highly recommended - only wish it was open later!

Am surprised the locals haven't tried to shut you down. Shouldn't be allowed in residential areas. Loud music and lively guests and gone past 2am
