New xc40 delivered and I love it! Stylish, understated and so comfortable to drive. I’ve had several Merc, BMW, Ford in the past, as well as a V50 and S60 and nothing comes close to a Volvo!!

Not sure where to start. Called Volvo customer Service for an urgent matter, the call attendant seemed very attentive and said he would follow up with me as he needed to check something. He never came back to me! When i chased up, there was no record of him putting anything on my account, so i suspect he simply just gave me some lip service and then got back to playing fusball. My first Volvo and i must say, probably my last Volvo.

My new car is sitting at the dealership ready to go! Unfortunately Volvo have been trying to sort out an administration issue for the past 4 weeks! (According to the dealer) No delivery date in sight! What have I got to do to get my new car??

The handover of my car was arranged a week in advanced. I sold my car, got a rental car and took half of my day off at work just for picking up my car.Three days prior, Volvo e-commerce platform keeps giving me errors to sign my finance contract and I keep getting different information from Volvo. Finally 1 day prior, they sent me the contract by email to be signed and many issues with the spelling of my surname.On the day of the handover, I was contacted in 2 occasions to go to take the car to be called again some minutes later when I was in my way, to tell me still they needed “the go ahead” from the headoffice! My afternoon all lost, extra days with rental car and NO CAR from Volvo!Very polite people but extremely poor organization and appalling IT services and website. Very bad experience from Volvo and I don’t even have my car yet!

XC90 brake pads and discs need replacing at 18000, the vehicle is less that 2 years old and still in warranty. Volvo are not interested. So much for safety and sustainable! I have never known a car’s brakes to fail under 18000 miles?

I engaged with Volvo at Chigwell Branch in East London over phone and email , I had agreed on the xc90 to view, when I turned up the welcome / greeting was non existent, when I got someone to speak to the sales rep. I had dealt with was absent, they could not find the particular vehicle I wanted to buy, after almost 20 mins they said it was at a compound.... I just gave up and went and purchased an X5 at BMW nearby. Overall a shocking customer experience and their showroom.is dated from 1999.

Shocking customer service, raised a complaint about my Volvo V60 as all the paint work on the front peeling off. At first the dealership blamed me for stone chips then released the information the car had beenrepaired prior to selling to me! I bought the car 9months old and 10k on the clock.Reached out to volvo uk for support ten weeks on no joy, numerous calls, numerous promises, nunerous complaints, people hanging up on me because they don't want to take ownership.Had enough now not the premium brand they like to think they are issue still not resolved should of bought a BMW.

Would definitely not recommend any Volvo to anyone and definitely not their appealing East London Chigwell Dealership.Earlier this year I took my brand new top of the range XC60 in as a warning light had come up even though the car was only approx two months old. As anyone would expect I assumed they would sort it out under warranty. However they informed me that one of the exposed sensor wires underneath the car had split and it was not covered under warranty and that I would have to pay for the repair! They falsely accused me of driving over something, which they say must have caused the damage! I definitely didn't and bear in mind this is meant to be an all train vehicle!I reluctantly agreed to the repair and they said it would be ready by end of that day as they could get the part in. At 5pm that day I was called and advised they hadn't yet started the work and it would be repaired the next day as it was not a quick job. I then complained and said I needed the car back today and they then said they'll try to repair today. Half an hr later I received a call saying it's been all repaired. The bill for the repair was a whopping £598. Approx 250 to 300 was apparently the cost of the part. The rest was for half an hr of labour!; which they later tried to lie about and said took several hrs even though at 5pm they called me and said they had not started any work on the car!!!To make matters worse when I complained to Volvo customer services at head office they were completely useless and didn't resolve anything or admit to any fault. I dealt with an incompetent staff member called Shibu who just made matters worse, who kept fobbing me off saying the dealership will call me (they never did) and that he would offer me a goodwill gesture (he never did).As a side point I would strongly advise against anyone buying a Volvo. They have major reliability issues. If anyone doesn't believe me just look at the very recent Which Consumer Car Survey, which listed Volvo as one of the most unreliable car brands.Also I encourage anyone who is buying one of the 4 by 4 vehicles to just look underneath the car before you buy and you will notice the multitude of exposed wires and cables underneath, which are all very vulnerable to damage and won't be covered under warranty if they get damaged.

i purchase Volvo XC 90 2018 reg, Plug in Hybrid car from Big motoring world from London After 40 days vehicle is broking down, Westfield motor ltd find problem and he need part number is 36019004 el. Motor erad, call to Lookers Volvo Colchester he said we need order from Sweden more than one month we not find part, i call volvo main office about part he no any id where we find this part ,uk main office no help me , how can i find this part, we are still waiting

Similar to other reviews, Volvo customer service is simply non existent. They fob you off with the usual spiel. V40 broke down with suspected fuel injector issues a few weeks out of warranty and they are not really interested in trying to help me out their customers. Would not purchase a Volvo again. I would advise anyone to think twice before trusting this brand.
