Boroughbridge Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Useful place to break our journey, I really like the grass pitches (no EHU) near the children's play area. Lovely green space surrounded by trees with a place you can view the river. Usual CCC high standard of facilities, very clean etc.

Stopped over here en route from Kent to Scotland on the hottest day of the year (40C in Lincolnshire). Was able to choose a pitch, which was great, as there was one right by the river.Facilities are standard Camping & Caravanning Club, clean, tidy and well-maintained. Access is via steps up and down over a steep bank but there is a ramp around the bank for the less able bodied.It was perfect for my needs.

Well kept and managed site. Friendly staff.Easy walk into Boroughbridge with it's variety of shops, cafes and pubs.On the banks of the river Ure at risk of flooding after bad weather.

Great experience at Boroughbridge Camping and Caravan Club. Simple yet has everything you need. I cannot express enough how AMAZING the toilet and shower facilities are here. They're also able to have a one way in and one way out system for covid security in the toilet/shower blocks. Cleaned regularly, they're also kept to a high standard of hygiene. Washing up basins for campers are available in a covered room, 2 people at a time currently and is brilliant. Laundry airers available to hang washing out along with washing machines and dryers. Hair dryer I the shower blocks is free to use. On the camping field (non-electric) we were situated next to the campsite Park which is brilliant for the kids making memories and friends, next to a football pitch with goals and a lovely natural reserve for walking. A dog walking grassed area is available this bringing dogs. Situated perfectly for visiting attractions close by.

Nice site next to The River Ure. Ideally situated for my bit of kayaking and only 17 mins away from Knaresborough (river nidd) Regrettably you can't do a launch from the site but not many mins away to do so. Will defiantly be looking at booking here next spring

Wonderful site which is cleverly landscaped, so no feeling of being overcrowded. Great meadow area which has a path way so great for walking the dog. There's also a secure field for our 4 legged friends to run around.All facilities are spotless & well maintained.The staff are friendly & extremely helpful.It's also in an ideal position for exploring The Dales as well as The Moors.I highly recommend Boroughbridge CCC site.

Great ccc site everything clean tidy and well kept dog friendly with a dog walk. Staff helpful. Lots of information and leaflets to help plan your stay. Easy walk (quarter of a mile) into boroughbridge where there are nice shops, cafes, pubs and walks. Quite a bit of noise over night from the dairy opposite if you a light sleeper.

Warm welcome from site team, everything spotless and tidy. Boroughbridge itself is worth exploring - and there’s lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Our second visit, and we’ll happily visit again - but perhaps not in heavy rains when the River Ure floods and the site has to be evacuated. All credit to the site team for arranging our relocation when we had to leave early - thank you!

Great site, showers and toilets immaculate, John and Hazel very welcoming and helpful, it was our first visit but certainly not our last 20 minutes walk in Boroughbridge with pubs, take ways and restaurants. Good location to visit many other places.

I never bother checking the reviews on club sites - as we are used to a consistently high standard. As normal this is a beautiful and well run club site - clean facilities, helpful, friendly staff.However - the noise from the nearby industrial units at night was unbearable (seems to be a milk processing plant).I could possibly get used to the low drone - akin to a car idling a few pitches away - but combined with the irregular metallic clanking and banging, and heavy vehicle noises it meant I got very little sleep.I guess it may be better on other parts of the site as there was a bank (flood defence?) between the pitches and facilities/road/units - but from where I was on the grass field (no EHU) there was a direct line of sight and sound.
