A surprisingly lovely museum. I’ve been to Canterbury many times but this was my first visit to the museum. If you’re in the city centre, i would highly suggest popping in.

Royal Museum (The Beaney)
This is a fascinating museum in the heart of Canterbury which one can visit for free. There is so much to see and records the history of life in and around the region.Bagpuss was a particular interest of our family as children's TV programme. The creator is from Canterbury.It is a wonderful place of culture, history and creativity. A visit is highly recommend.
