Reserved two carpets a few weeks ago, called last Saturday to book a fitting for tomorrow, all okay. Called in today to ensure everything was going ahead. They said they have no record of the booking and they can't find the carpets I'd reserved! Turns out their booking system is all paper based and nothing was written down on their piece of paper. Absolute shambles! I was given a half-hearted apology, no attempt made to find a replacement for me, no gesture of goodwill offered. I won't be coming back.Edit: I've just seen the atrocious reply from the company, packed full of lies to cover their backs. Just for the record, I offered to pay when I first went in around 6 weeks ago, not 12. It was George who I first spoke to and he told me that they take payment on day of fitting. I would have happily paid a deposit then but I wasn't advised to - when I discussed payment I was just told that I have to pay on the day and for some reason pay the fitters separately. I reserved the roll ends, saw him write my details on them and even helped him to move them to the reserved section. I called on Saturday just gone and Shaune seemed surprised but he booked me in for a Friday fitting and told me to come on Thursday to check for the roll ends as he couldn't see them in his paperwork. He didn't mention anything about keeping them reserved only for one week and he confirmed that the fitting was booked for Friday afternoon. So this is the context, I arrived on Thursday and was disappointed to find no fitting booking had been made, no carpets to be seen, no help provided to help me to find an alternative and now I see that you throw all the blame on me. Not a good look at all in a public review. Take a look at my prior reviews on Google, I usually go on the platform to give praise, but when faced with truly Godawul service like this and zero empathy, you deserve less than 1 star. Unfortunately Google doesn't let me do that. Shocking service and shocking attitude in response to my review.

Whiston Carpets have been supplying carpets for our homes for years and their service is always fantastic. They recently helped us with our new home, the staff in the shop were great at listening to what we wanted and helping us pick the best carpets for our budget. The fitters were really friendly and got the job done quickly. Couldn't recommend them enough!

After a bad experience with some other professional" fitter we called Andrew from Whiston Carpet to install two floors with laminate and tiles at the entrance. Andrew and Connor were super professional and they really exceeded all our expectations. The work has been carried out with extreme attention to details.We would absolutely recommend them!"

Had the lads from Whiston Carpets here this morning. Removed our old laminate floor and laid a new one in less than 4 hours.Amazing job and cleaned everything up before they left. My wife and I are so pleased with it.

Lez and the team have been amazing. Welcomes into the store with a friendly smile, showed us all our options, asked a few questions to help us decide our type of carpet etc then left us to make a decision without pushing for a sale. We they had a massive delay in the house decorations and they where more than accomodating.Once we get our money worth out of the current bedroom flooring, well definitely be using Whiston to kit out all rooms

Used Whiston Carpets to do my whole house. Extremely helpful, friendly and patient- from show room to fitting. Show room staff offered me a wide range of options which was very useful the fitters where very friendly when in my home and didn't make mess etc. Would highly recommend and would use again. Brilliant customer service, profession and friendly guys came to measure up every room in my house 1 for flooring and 1 for blinds, both were in and out in ten minutes. Then a lovely lady in the flooring and also in the blinds shop showed us everything there in stock. They were both really helpful making it a easy choice. Then 5 days later all fitted for blinds and 6 days later all the flooring. We couldn't be happier. Thank you
