Room was clean and well put together. Jacobite House is very well placed in the centre of Inverness and with great transport links. I was staying while up for a conference then a holiday and it was very easy to get about.The shower pressure was great, which is always a bonus, and the well-equipped kitchen, while I did not use it, is a handy addition. The noise from the street on our side was not an issue either despite being on a busy, social street.My only gripe was that the shelf in the bathroom above the sink was quite low so I could not comfortably brush my teeth or wash my face.Make sure you are informed in the check-in procedure when arriving, it is a keysafe situation which works well as long as you are aware.Quite reasonably priced also.

It is not what the photos show, it is small, clean and neat but... the rooms do not have a private bathroom, the bathroom is private because the access to your room is outside of it, in the hall and the same key is used of the room. It does not have air conditioning and the views without small windows to the sky, no view. Very noisy area. It is on the 3rd floor by stairs, to consider if you carry luggage. It's not bad but I wouldn't do it again. Having them send you information to enter costs... through WhatsApp you ask for the door code and then the code to get your key

I recently stayed at The Jacobite House and had such a wonderful visit. My flight arrived in Inverness very late, and I caught a taxi to the accommodation. Self check-in was so simple thanks to the instructions provided by the owner. After a long two days of travel, I was thankful to open the door to my room and find such lovely accommodations. Plenty of room, comfy bed, tv, kettle, oscillating fan, and en suite. Everything I could ask for was already provided! :)The location cannot be beat! It is in the heart of Inverness’ city centre..shops and restaurants just steps away. As a solo female traveler, it was also incredibly safe and secure. I booked a tour through Rabie’s and The Jacobite House was a short ten minute walk from Inverness Cathedral where my tour pickup spot was.I cannot leave a review without mentioning how incredible and hospitable the owners are. Upon checking out, I realized I accidentally left my Air Pods on the nightstand. I reached out to them via email, and they immediately responded that they had found them. Because I had already flown out of Scotland, they offered to mail them to me at my home address in the US. Although I offered to pay for the shipping since it was completely my mistake, they said “no need” and would not accept any payment. I could not believe how kind they had been! In this day and age, you don’t often find people who are so willing and eager to help others, so they truly hold a special place in my heart.I visit Inverness once a year and The Jacobite House will forever and always be my go-to place to stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay, please check them out. Not only are the rooms great but the location is perfect and the owners are phenomenal! A+++

The only issue is these rooms are currently up 3 flights of stairs. If that is not an issue then fantastic. It has a full shared kitchen that you can use and very central to the city. Room is nice and the people very welcoming.
