The Promenade
Peaceful place, perfect for a lockdown stroll after a nice coffee from the burger van. Going along the river also the perfect place to walk your dog. There were bins on the way promoting people not to litter.

Lovely area just off the centre of Brecon. Peaceful mainly flat walks with views of the beacons. Very pleasant. Only downside being what facilities there are, are pretty run down and unappealing. However, perfect for a picnic.

This is a must visit to anyone coming to Brecon.On a lovely summers day you cannot beat having an ice cream from lanfaes dairy and having a relaxing still down the promenade.You will meet the locals who also love to walk along the prom having a walk. It’s a place to bring all the family including your dogs.In the winter it is just as beautiful weather it be the leaves falling off or snowing it is a beautiful walk and a must for all visitors.

Brecon Town Council, done amazing here! Perfect for motorhomes, can vist the town within 10 min walk.. lovely shops. We paddleboard from here and kids spent ages playing in the park well kept and clean.

Lovely walk along the promenade, looks beautiful on a bright sunny day, spent quite some time here listening to the water, walk further down there is a park and small arcade for the children, been here since a child, lovely place

The Promenade
Stunning views!Beautiful location with a riverside walk and only a short distance from town. There is a 'Boathouse' cafe at the car park which serves refreshments but the main thing is the beautiful view of the river and the distant Brecon Beacons aka Pen Y Fan. Great for families and the parking is more than ample. A very popular destination. Overnight parking for motorhomes available at the promenade car park and there are nearby toilets.

Lovely promenade with great size car park,motorhomes welcome to stay overnight 6pm till 8am for free but only for 1 day in a 7 day period,fantastic views and walks along the river Usk and into town and cathedral all in walking distance

The Promenade
Lovely walk along the river with the dog, there are big and little fish, we even saw a duck with her duckling. There was a place to go down and let the dog swim safely. Plenty of seats, bins and shade.
