I have eaten here several times and it has been good, but just had the best cooked dinner in a pub ever. If that was three times the price in a Michelin stars restaurant I would not complained. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Came in for a bite to eat. Ordered the Mac and cheese with cheesy garlic bread. Andrew was great at putting the order in quickly, the service was prompt thanks to Patryck and the food was delicious!

Had a chat with will the manager. He is a wonderful guy very friendly and helpful. First time me and my wife have come here and will definitely come back again on our travels.The share with friends was an amazing dish so compliments to the chef.Overall loved this place and a big well done to all the staff. Ordered 2 chicken roasts and they came without stuffing like advertised, Yorkshire puddings were literally like crisps and when we informed the waiter about the stuffing he said he’d have a word with the chef and never returned, carrots were raw, bought two cokes, £3 each, mostly ice. Exchanged one of the meals for some nachos, guacamole was bitter, top layer were burnt. Jalapeños when I asked explicitly for no jalapeños. Overall bad quality. Place used to be amazing I loved it but recently they have declined terribly. Will not be coming again until they sort the food out.

when I went to the bear and ragged staff with some friends, staff were lovely and polite and chatted to us enthusiastically. Food and drinks were very good and one of the staff members ( Sam) was polite and friendly with us and was happy to answer questions and help us have the most enjoyable experience there

I dealt with the staff member called Patrick. He was professional and very well educated on all the beers and wines.Would defiantly recommend my family to go here especially with the service I received. I am not from the town and it looks like a top quality Great British Pub.Big Thankyou to Patrick as well hopefully he will be the manager soon as possible.Thanks Tom

All 3 of us ordered the same meal and all 3 of us did not get onion rings until we reminded them. Gave higher service rating as we got the food in the end. Other than that, the food was tasty but a bit pricy and the place comfortable but not top of the range. Very loud place when the footy is on but that didn't bovver me.

Came here for lunch and the food was nice! They barely had any food as they were shut for the last 2 days and had to throw everything away but wasn’t made aware of this until we’d already decided what we wanted, additionally it took longer than I’d expected for them to make 2 toasties when it was fairly empty and considering the fact they didn’t have much food. Aside from this I have no complaints about the meal but they could have a few more options on the menu as it’s quite a basic menu so it doesn’t excite me so much to return

Had a fantastic lunch on Saturday, 10 of us and all the food came out at the same time, the manager could not do enough for us. The food was excellent as was the service, would definitely recommend.
