I bought 3 pieces of cheese cake, each with 3 whipped creme spots on top and a piece of chocolate in the middle - they looked beautifully. The young lady there packed each piece into a clear plastic box, however those were not high enough and the cream got squashed. Initially I left the shop but I examined the cakes outside and I came back. I showed the cakes to the lady and she showed me a bigger cardboard box for cakes, and she offered to repack it. But my cakes were squashed, so I mentioned that and she made an impression that that's how it is. So I said that I wanted to get the cakes and preserve the way they looked originally until I serve them at home. And she said that it's not possible. (!)Another lady asked me if I dropped them, and I haven't, so I told her so, and I explained that the boxes were too small.Eventually a third, a bit older lady came, who looked like she's in charge, and she told the first one to give me 3 new pieces and put them in the cardboard box.Problem solved.Recommendation for the owners: order some higher boxes or make the cakes shorter so they fit in.Recommendation for staff members: if you pack the cake for someone and you see you squashed it, ask the customer if that's ok, and if it's not, give them a new piece and pack in a different way.Would you serve a squashed cake like that at home to your guests? I don't think so.
