We’ve had training from Lorraine on several occasions for our dog woody. This has ranged from basic puppy training to working on his recall to solving a bedtime behavioural issue.Lorraine is passionate about working with dogs and bring her experience and knowledge to training. I’ve just finished Lorraine’s puppy class with my rescue springer pup. While he is my 3rd spaniel I felt it was important to have a bit of 121 training time with him and I’m so glad we signed up. We’ve packed in so much training over the course of the 6 weeks, but importantly all done with such fun that you forget you’re actually training your dog. Over the duration of the class we went from basic eye contact to scentwork, with everything in between, what a journey! I can’t recommend Pawtant Pooch highly enough!

Great puppy training sessionsMy husband, kids and cockapoo have just finished Lorraine's 6-week puppy training course. We all found it brilliantly helpful in helping to boost our skills and confidence as new dog owners. Not only is Lorraine a real expert in her field, but her training sessions are delivered in fun and engaging way. Her flexible aproach also ensured the sessions were tailored to the training needs of our group, and very relevant. When we first met Lorraine - Tapi our rescue terrier, was absolutely petrified of everything around him; people, dogs, leaves falling and had a very reactive response to these things. Completely lacking confidence. After a couple of sessions with Lorraine, we as owners were equipped with techniques to help navigate this scary world with him. Now, we can go for a walks with great eye contact, recall, almost lose lead walking and more recently a very friendly reaction to dogs, even nose to nose hellos. Lorraine really helped us to build a solid foundation for Tapi to become a well rounded pup.Would recommend Lorraine to everyone we meet.

Lorraine was amazing with my mini schnauzer pup Milo, he was a bit of a terror on walks, easily distracted, barking and chasing everything and not listening to me, but after just the first couple of lessons he was a completely different pup, a pleasure to walk and making great eye contact. Little by little we're both getting confident walking off the lead and with the techniques Lorraine has equipped me with she's shown me how Milo is responsive to learning and how we can move forward. It takes hard work from both sides but really worth it. Cannot recommend enough!

As a family we had many 121s with our Labrador Solo during lockdown with Lorraine at Pawtant Pooch. He’s an active dog who finds it hard to settle but Lorraine worked with us all to train Solo in loose lead walking, recall and calming him down.Solo loves his walks with Lorraine and his other friends during the week too.

Would highly recommend Lorraine’s 6 week group puppy training classes. Lorraine understands dogs so well and always approaches things from the pup’s view and needs
