I do not want to come back to a hospital where the facilities are sub standard. I visited on May 19, 2021.I was told by Dr Louise that I was coming for a root canal treatment. But, unfortunately that was not the case. There, was lack of clarity and misunderstanding.I was assigned a room for treatment with Dr Scott and the room was without a magnifier. It's impossible to do this treatment with multiple manual instruments as she tried to do. I will be publicly making such information available until the hospital tells the patient exactly what they are going to do. I came in as an emergency situation. Moreover, her assistant kept barging into the conversation when I was talking to the Dr. She were talking over me and such behaviour was highly rude as the entire experience showed how bad the administration of the dental clinic staff was.We are also human beings with an intellectual capacity to find out matters pertaining to our well being. I was shoved out after a temporary treatment, because she couldn't get to the root.Despite, your aerosol cleansing rule due to Covid19 - keeping the clinical spray for 30 minutes in the room after I left was the most feeble excuse. In fact it was blatantly rude as I was well within my time limit. This behaviour from NHS Scot clinicians was not appropriate

My reply to Hal Esler.Hal EslerSenior Dental OfficerPublic Dental ServiceKing's Cross HospitalDundeeDD3 8EAI have made payment and I got the recipt. I was told the amount was £20 for a root canal. As I was assigned a room with no magnifier Dr Scott could not get to the root canal.Your version of the story was misconstrued. I did not have to pay for the root canal, because the treatment was not carried out but I paid on money on both occasions. If I was not supposed to pay then you must process my refund according to your records. There was no mention of Aerosol spray in the hospital consulting room. I lost valuable time speaking to Dr Scot because her assistant was rude.I am sending the pictures that there were no signs anywhere informing patients.About Aerosol cleansing spray. It cost me five days of my time and excruciating pain. I spoke to Heather Clarke and Dr Lous that I did not have a dentist clinic in Dundee. Despite, that the information conveyed to Dr Scott was not accurate. Dr Scott was amazing, but she did not have The right tools. There's going to be patients who the medical staff are going to upset if they dont documentaise where aerosol sprays are needed and when they are not.As, a patient I was put in a compromising situation by medical staff and who refused to even try and be kind to me and accept their mistakes.Dr Scott is an award winning dentist in the few seconds she had she tried to tell me while I made notes with a pen. I was in the room for 30 minutes. I was told the room was 1·5 hours allocation time per patient. Please see the pictures attached. I will make this information publicly available so that patients are aware instead of getting dissapointments at Dundee hospital.119, services asked me to come. The Kings Cross hospital had to send me to a room with a magnifier and Dr Scott mentioned Park Hospital. I should go there, but Heather Clarke refused to do a referral on.two occasions. I.am new to the area , but your treatment on ethnic minorites is deplorable.I hope my email will help.NHS Scotland to improve their standards and Scottish Government to adhere to complaints to improve their services. The feedback email address keeps bouncing and there is no accountability.

AMAZING DENTIST! Was in Dundee visiting from Glasgow over the Jubilee bank holiday and my daughter (6) had toothache on a tooth she had been on the waiting list to get out for 1+ year. Other dentists have tried to remove this before but not for very far as she was terrified. Got an appointment fast and Gary the dentist was fantastic. So good with her and made her totally at ease took her tooth out without a bother or her really knowing what was going on as the jag was her biggest fear. I can’t thank you enough! If I could I would travel to Dundee to your practice for you to be our family dentist.

I am extremely anxious about dental work. I was able to get an appointment and was seen very smoothly. The two colleagues that saw me and worked on my mouth were so lovely and really fought to make me feel at ease (which is not an easy task!) Thank you for making me feel a little more relaxed in an otherwise nerve wracking situation.

I called in this morning due to a lingering toothache and the lady on the phone was very helpful. I was given an appointment for 3.30 pm and was seen by a lovely Dentist Caroline, and Dental Nurse Zoe. They were very kind and professional. Even the people from the reception are very friendly and welcoming. These people make me proud to say that I work for the NHS. You are all amazing, thank you for your service and hard work!

My daughter had ENT appointments there. Nurses and staff were so nice. Dr Haddow is amazing. She and her team helped my daughter to replace eardrum and improved hearing. So appreciated xx
