Hillsborough Stadium

The stadium is showing its age and the toilets are the stuff of nightmares. Also, the home crowd of over 25,000 seemed to be sleeping through the match. Good job we were there to wake them up.

Came for the SWFC vs. Luton fixture. It's one of those iconic English stadia. It was a shame that the stadium was less than half full with only one and part of a stand open. You could imagine the atmosphere when full.

Famous old stadium but looking very tired and shabby. Such a shame its been allowed to get into such a state. Great proper football ground with fantastic atmosphere but the whole place needs some TLC.

Attended Hillsborough on a freezing cold evening mid week game, arrived with approx hour and a half prior to kick off, so didn't see much of surrounding suburb, although I understand most surrounding pubs are for home fans, apart from a working men's club which is approx twenty minute walk from the ground. Their are facilities inside the ground perimeter that serve hot and cold drinks, and food, but luckily we where at the front of the que, as the que became long and timely, luckily the weather was only frosty, but if wet wouldn't be pleasant. View in the ground was ok leg room ok.

Other than being a famous, old and huge stadium, it really is a poor stadium in desperate need of urgent redevelopment and modernisation. Poor food selection and the facilities are bad. Hopefully Sheffield Wednesday will finally get back to the Premier League soon which should allow the club to reinvest in their ground.

Coming from an away fan who’s never been up until yesterday.Nice stadium. Away end could’ve used some work. I know used to be a terrace stadium but toilets are out dated and even Concourses are ah. Kept on getting dripped on by water but overall as an away fan, it’s not bad.Shapes w the roofs fair unique but I like it. As I said. Way out fashioned and needs a lot of work from stand to concourses but not bad for a few hours. Worth a visit from an away fan if your not mega far

Best away experience in League One, a great set of fans, and the atmosphere was spine tingling.Barry Bannon and George Byers are a different class to the rest of league one Football

A nice venue to attend and spectate. It's clean and easy to get around inside.Staff are very friendly and helpful.Lots of facilities available.Queues at shops and ticket offices move fast.
