Lovely traditional pub on the Quay, fantastic wood burning stove roaring gives it a nice cosy feel. Looking forward to coming back.

Nice place to visit while wandering around the quay. Nice staff and nice menu, with very nice home cooked food (smallish portions though).It seems unfair to only give three stars (to me that means its an ok place to visit), but despite the nice staff, clean toilets and good food I would try somewhere else next time although I dont know why!And to finish,......A horse went into a pub every night for a week.The barman asked you've been in every day. Do you think you might be alcoholic? '" I don't think I am" said the horse

Badger beers aplenty, a nice pub on the Quay, good food and drinks offering. Interesting guitar display in cases in the bar.

An absolute classic, great Pub, friendly staff and a good range of beers. A lot of history from both music and military. Dog friendly and even have a doggo menu. Live guitarist on the night I visited. Highly recommended and worth a revisit.

15 of us, adults, dogs and children arrived. WeWere met with a friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. All food came out promptly and hot. It was one of the children's birthday. We had a cake and asked if we could sing to her. They were quite happy for us to do this and even provided plates and napkins for us. What a lovely pub .

Lord Nelson pub on the quay side in Poole, great old pub, you can only imagine the amount of sailor's and people that have been in here over the past couple hundred years. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a big breakfast, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans and 2 bread and butter for £5, an absolute bargain.
