The Piazza
Pedestrian area used for special events.Bench seating available along sides.Royal Parade end of Piazza is dominated by Big Screen display. This is used to show live coverage of major sporting events. Family films are also shown at times. Seating is provided.

It is a good place for markets especially the Christmas one. Apart from that its a bit of a wasted space. Needs more there all the time.

A great shame the big TV could not be saved but hey ho ever onwards, nothing lasts forever. The Piazza is at it's best when hosting an event, otherwise it feels big and empty.

I live in Plymouth and i am utterly disappointed with the city centre it's a total disgrace the council has spent a lot of money on improving it but it's a total disaster, shops not opening or closing early on late night shopping days what a joke,

Plymouth itself was lovely and our hotel was fab but the reason for our visit was the xmas market which i must say disappointed. Online it says there is over 60 stalls. We counted around 30 and they were very expensive and alot of them sold food so we didnt find any gifts so not a satisfying visit

Lovely place to visit and take a coffee and cake and generally people watch. Very clean and toilets near by.

If you are referring to the restaurant on top of The House of Fraser , its very comfortable, great views over the city, becomes very busy at lunchtime. Reasonably priced fare with bonus future coffee/tea for half price - check your receipt

I went with my family to lord mares day, had a great time. In the winter you get the ice rink a usually a grotto and lots of stalls. Theres a big screan to watch different things. Theres some great coffee shops there and theres toilets, they do have stairs though so not good for wheelchair users. Its a great part of plymouth city centre with plenty of seating areas.
