Albaba Restaurant
Was looking for some halal food while up in Leeds. Saw Albaba Restaurant on Google maps. Ordered shish tawouk (similar to grilled chicken tikka) which was freshly made, it was very tasty and the side salad with Lebanese pickles was fresh too. I would recommend Albaba and I will be visiting again.

I ordered a few pastries(Fatayer) and the dough tasted bad and wasn’t even cooked properly on top of that they were wrapped with only foil and stacked on top of each other on a small plastic bag without proper packaging. I really suggest you improve the dough to meet the standard Lebanese cosine because this isn’t worth the £23!

Went for Christmas lunch with my team. First time customer and exceeded my expectations. The food was cooked fresh and was delicious. Anyone wanting a taste of Lebanon should look this place up.

Don't miss it, they have amazing foods! I love their falafel wrap and their lentils soup. I bet they have the best falafel, it is so tasty and fulfilling! They also have some amazing foods next to the counter. I will never have enough. Nice guys serving in the little restaurant. You can also order from them. I only tried their vegan foods but I believe their meat tastes amazing as well!

Chicken Salad was delicious but received in a standard small plastic tub so portion was not good for the price of £7. Fresh orange juice was spot on too but for the price of £5 which comes in a small cup not so good so please AlBaba get some bigger cups. £4.50 for large Baklava, not sure i would class it as large and not sure what the norm is for that specific portion i received but it was enough for me, i didn't mind paying the £4.50. Lentil soup is £4, it came in a standard small plastic container but portion was just right so i didn't mind paying the £4.My total of all this including service fee after discount came up to £20.44 which is really steep and prices paid don't reflect at all in the portions i'm afraid.I ordered for delivery which was quick so that was good.Would i use AlBaba again?My answer is, yes (not any time soon) but only at the restaurant it self and not for delivery, in the hopes of the portion being more better to reflect the prices charged/paid.This is my honest review and i hope i have a better experience in the future.

It's a good reasonable place to eat, healthy to some extent, I e tried almost everything on their menu, good job they've taken the Pizzas of menu because they're the worst thing they had to SELL. everything they sell is of good quality usually until this time, Food took ages to make until I noticed the reason, the staff was too busy preparing food for delivery orders also I ordered a mixed shawarma meal and I got only chicken I instaed.

The best falafel shop in Leeds.The food is beautifully presented, great portion and well priced. Staff are so friendly and food quality is great! Please visit when you can, at least once
