This was a cake smiles review.not for marias cafe.not even worthy of one star im afraid. eclairs were rock hard,no fresh cream,it felt like plastic,the fruit tarts with custard were overfilled with weighty big fruit that when we picked them out of the box,they fell apart,called them to complaine and lady says she knew the quality wasnt good but was happy for us to bring them back for a refund? what ? you knew they were bad and still sold them? woman saysyes i did but i have no problem refunding you if you can bring them back" the fact that she knew they were bad and also asked for them back before she refunded me

Lovely food and the staff are so welcoming. The cafe is very clean and well looked after. There is a steady flow of people but the food was served within 10 minutes. We ordered Maria’s Special Steak and it was delicious!!

I really enjoyed my breakfast at this cafe which was made well and tasted really nice. The prices were good and offer a good variety. They have a good range of snacks as well, although I have not tried those. I would definitely return to this little gem on a busy road.

I have been ordering cakes from here nearly 10 years lovely cakes . The manger here is so friendly. I now and then go to the Uppingham Rd shop to have breakfast it's really nice thank you and keep up the good work

Wonderful little place for great selection of coffees. Easy to find when out doing your shopping. Lovely friendly service.
