After working with a couple of web designers in the past, Katie at Barn2Media has proven to be without any shadow of a doubt the most efficient and honest person to work with.Katie takes the time to explain in easy-to-understand terms what is required and just gets on with it with no fuss or delays. They took a complicated site, a bazillion requests, tweaks and considerations in stride and delivered a well-organized, handsome, very user-friendly site. Katie has what is, in my opinion, a very rare ability to explain very techy stuff to very non-techy (me) people in a way that delivers enough understanding for me to be able to make decisions without overwhelming me with details and jargon. Initially this Company were very easy to contact then they became highly elusive. one of the deciding factors to engaging this Company was that it appeared on face value" that there was a team presence at their offices of over 5 people. This in fact was not the case and it was very misleading. overall the work they did was good but contacting them a nightmare which of course many of us need regarding websites etc"

I only write testimonials when they are worth writing or else I just shut up just in case. I thought that I would write my experiences after trying various routes in by web experiences for the past 15 years.1. When I look to use a service, I look very carefully at how they market themselves. In this case – web design. I checked out the web site – the Alexa ranking and how high it was on the page for “wordpress + web designers”. It was had a good rank. They have walk the talk.Spoke to Katie and it was a straight forward process.2. I have used much cheaper services overseas as the internet is a great leveller. I have encountered a number of problems – communication, necessary skills, passing of responsibility and snagging (persistent minor problems). Yes it is financially cheaper BUT at the expense of your time and energy.3. I wanted everything done under “one roof”. No buck passing.4. For this purpose, this web site is to have the greater exposure and hence, it has to be Google friendly from the start. I went to Katie for her to do the work.5. My experience with Katie - trouble free and no hassle. What she does works. Very little snagging encountered. I found little problems. They were because of me and not her.6. Will do it the same way for the next web site.7. By the way – her blogs are a treasure trove of information in WP.8. Thank you Katie – you are my one stop shop.9. Working with Barn2 Media was the single best investment I ever made. They are extremely skilled at what they do and are able to provide top notch designs for reasonable prices. Even better, their customer service is exemplary - every single stupid question I sent them was answered quickly, in depth and professionally. Barn2 re-designed our website 3 years ago. We were satisfied with the original visual design, but not all functionality was delivered. Barn2 blamed the theme for the limitations, but it was a theme that they had chosen following our brief.Since launch we have found the site hard to live with at times. Several issues have arisen that make it difficult to make changes due to the way it was originally configured.We have been offered monthly support by Barn2, and that probably would have helped but then the total price would have been far in excess of other quotes we had.

Andy and Katie are experts in Wordpress web design. I design websites in Wordpress and they are the experts who advise me when there is something I cannot design or understand (which often happens). They are young, professional, enthusiastic and most importantly ...really know their stuff.
