My favourite gift shop in Edinburgh. Always find something to buy when I visit.

7-9 Church Hill Place, Edinburgh.I visited this store on Thursday to purchase some outdoor furniture.This experience was one to the worst I have received in the City. The tall bespectacled assistant (very loosely termed) was grumpy, unhelpful and down right rude. Had the purchase not been a present for my daughter I would most definitely have taken my business elsewhere . I will not be back.

Amazing shop with amazing staff, definitely recommend for furniture

Yesterday I visited Time & Tide in Morningside to return a face vase, the gentleman who served me that I returned it too asked did I want the smaller one, I was unsure but thought yes I will take it, again I asked if it's not suitable for where I wanted it to stand could I return it, HE SAID THIS IS A SHOP WE SELL THINGS & DONT GIVE THINGS OUT IN APRO! I was taken aback so I said I will put the small vase back & just have a refund please, he went away for a few minutes when another customer in the shop came up to me to say it was terrible the way he spoke to me & was appalled but she wanted to know I was alright & she would have done the same thing, she then walked out of the shop. He then said give me your credit card I advised him I paid cash. I did get my money back& I told him about the other customer what was said. I have bought a throw from Time & Tide in Cockburn St, I have bought candles from Time & Tide in North Berwick & the sales assistants in theses shops gave an excellent service. I must add the Lady assistant who served me on Thursday was very very helpful.I was disappointed in the way he dealt with this.

Absolutely fantastic furniture and interior decoration shop in the heart of Edinburgh. It has always quite unique items and seasonal stuff as well. Very friendly staff.

Garry was so helpful and arranged delivery of items, which arrived with no problems. The shop in Cockburn St,Edinburgh, has a lovely feel when you step through the door. Not often in Edinburgh but would definitely visit Time and Tide again, when looking for something special for my home.

We visited the shop during our holiday in Edinburgh. We purchased 2 x lime, basil and mandarin diffusers. Our house smells divine! We wish we had bought more. We live in Spain. They packed very easily in our suitcase. 5* service

Warm, helpful staff and a wonderful selection of oddities. Jane and Rebecca could not have been more accommodating of my requests, and I am very grateful for the excellent service!
