No other words than disappointed. The painting was rushed; drop marks, gravely texture with bits of dirt in the paint and heavy brushstrokes in the wrong direction. I paid an extra £250 on top of the bill as a gesture of goodwill and iterated for Paul not to rush. The windows were done in 2 days, its a min. of 3 days work. The photos are what we are now left with. I am mortified, out of pocket and have had to hired someone else to re-do the job, costing me more money.I never write bad reviews unless I feel I have good reason. This is unacceptable workmanship and I am so upset. I do not recommend Paul's services.

Paul has now painted our bedroom, office, dining room, living room and downstairs bathroom and on every occasion his workmanship is perfect. He takes time to prepare all surfaces properly, he is tidy and covers up furniture/carpet etc and to be honest i think his workmanship is second to none. Added to this he is polite, trustworthy and is always happy to give advice on what type of paint to buy for the project.I have recommended Paul to other members of my family such is the regard I hold him in.Put simply, the man is an artist and my wife and I will only use Painting By Paul now for any painting jobs we have.

Paul recently undertook a part exterior (side and rear wall of house, together with fence line) and part interior (kitchen and utility) painting job for us. His work was very diligent and thorough, taking the time to complete everything to a high standard. He was very professional throughout. We would have no hesitation recommending him again.

We’re absolutely thrilled with Paul’s work at our house. He recently painted our kitchen, living room, hallway, stairs and landing.Paul has great attention to detail and the finish is definitely better than I could have achieved myself.Paul even offered to talk to me about paint choices, as I was very indecisive about colours.Paul turned up as agreed, kept us updated with his progress and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again, or recommend to friends.

Just moved into my house and needed a painter desperately and Paul came to the rescue, he painted my hall and stairs, lounge, kitchen and the front of my house. All I can say about Paul is that he provides an excellent service, tidies up after himself and will be using his services in the future. Thank you Paul.
