I really enjoyed my first swim at Trevassack Lake today. The lake itself, an old quarry, is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, and the water is lovely to swim in. There is an option of a dip closer to the shore or open water swimming on a set circuit. There are lifeguards patrolling in kayaks, and so either option feels very safe. The facilities are fantastic. The changing rooms and hot showers are super clean, and lockers are available to store belongings (it’s also possible to leave the locker key at reception which is very handy). The free car park is located close by. Overall my impression is that a lot of thought has gone into creating this, the focus on sustainability is very welcome, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I think it’s going to be a real asset for the Lizard. In the future, it would be great to have more slots for the open water swimming option, perhaps to run alongside the weekday mornings dips. Some yoga classes would also be amazing!I’ll definitely be back!

Really pretty scenery lots of fun activities to try out. I'm an above knee amputee, this place really was a breath of fresh air. Turned up solo for the Sunday morning swim. The staff were amazing, really helpful and friendly. Full disabled accessibility for all ability levels is a statement thrown around a lot, but in this case it is 100% true. They have a wide range of equipment to help you in and out of the water, staff on hand to help and really good disabled changing facilities. Thereare staff avaible to answer your queries over the phone before you come. I am planning to return to do some kayaking this week and will be becoming a member when I move here. Great great place.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust used the training room at Children Sailing Trust’s HQ for an away day this October and had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful (before and during the day), the space is fantastic and practical, and having the option for the team to swim helped make the day more memorable than typical away days. Huge thanks to the team for their help and hospitality.

We went for lunch as it had been recommended by a friend who had visited for coffee and mentioned how lovely it was. She was right, it was stunning. Very busy as you would expect for this time of year but there is plenty of seating, both inside and out. The food was excellent and considering how busy it was and it is only a small kitchen, we did not have to wait too long for our food. Would thoroughly recommend.

Closed on a Saturday due to wedding. Went Sunday but they were only concerned with wedding guests. Couldn't get breakfast because of the wedding the day before. Only had paper cups left. Had to ask for a teaspoon utility only had a dessert spoon to stir our drinks. If they are selling weddings then perhaps they need to re-think their staffing issues. They obviously didn't want new business. Waste of time
