Five Elms Dry Cleaners

Needed trousers taken up as an emergency for a funeral. Five elms dry cleaners were fabulous and did it in 24 hours. Great job, great service and price. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

I had a broken zipper, I took it to them on Wednesday and it was done on Saturday - they have a speedy service and a welcoming environment. Very happy with the repair and service !

This dry cleaner has serviced my £500+ value coats in the past with no issues. Returned recently to have one of them cleaned again and discovered (upon returning home) that they had absolutely destroyed the lining of the coat, which is made of silk. I returned the following day to confront them about the damage, and they claimed they had not noticed this and remarked that the damage must have existed prior to the clean. When I evidenced photographs of the coat which were taken shortly before the coat was dropped off (thank goodness for iPhones, which show a time and date stamp of when the photos were taken) they nonchalantly apologised and said there was nothing they could do to mend it, as it was damaged beyond repair, and instead offered to waiver the fee which was a mere £10. The cheek. I felt so humiliated, paid the fee and walked out. Be forewarned, they do not take accountability for any damage that they incur. For this reason I would not recommend this store.

Brought them rare vintage clothes to clean and/or repair with always amazing results and always on time. And people who work in there are gentle and nice. I highly recommend their service.

Great quality and very quick service, left my jackets on Thursday, were supposed to be done for Saturday 12pm but received the text on Friday 8:30am that they were already ready for pick-up. Paid £5.50 per item, happy with the price. Will use in the future.

They took up my husband shirt sleeves that were 5 too long. Excellent job

I have just literally come back from here. I went in to get a zip replaced in my winter coat. The gentleman said that it could not be replaced as the press studs were too close to the zip. What this amazing gentleman did was to replace the metal pull part of the zip, only taking 5 minutes to do so and at a VERY reasonable price. There are not enough stars to convey the friendliness, prefessionalism and genuine care that was shown to me. This is an excellent place and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I cannot fault the service the lady in the shop was lovely and when the quilt was picked up for me it was presented in a lovely bag which I will store the quilt in during the summer months. Fantastic shop really pleased

Highly recommend this company to both my friends and family. The service I received from start to finish was outstanding and IMO they are priced reasonably. During my visit from the get go they managed my expectations in advance by saying that the end result might differ from what I want as I unfortunately took too long, but the end result was better than expected…I was very much pleased and cannot complain.
