Waldo Road Reuse and Recycling Centre (Bromley)

Very efficient and organised. The staff are on top of things! I just want to say a huge thank-you to the older Gentleman who works there. He was busy cleaning around the skips and was so very helpful on two occasions. I don't know your name sir, but thank-you. Great service.

Great recycling centre. Excellent and helpful staff. Wish all London boroughs had one as effective and efficient as Bromley.

Not impressed, issue with van in front, who obviously did not have correct license. Took 3/4 people to debate with him. Over half an hour later, van still there, nobody able to dump their rubbish, queue now causing havoc on the main road. They should have asked the van to move forward, and discussed it with him, allowing people to still use the site. Simple really, basic communication skills. The people that work there, seem to be power hungry and feel they can do and say whatever they want, and if that means keeping you waiting unnecessarily for an hour, than tough. By the way the van was able to, Offload all his stuff anyway, so what a complete waste of time for all those people in the queue, and subsequent delays on the road. What a terrible place, I think bromley could do better. It’s a shame you don’t have no stars.

Not sure where all the 5 star reviews are coming from. Sure, the people who work here are nice, but be prepared to queue upwards on an hour to get in- a booking system seems like a sensible idea. Electronics could also be separated to aid recycling.

Visited there this morning and found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. Even though it was quiet, they were keeping themselves busy with tidying up around the areas. It has really improved over the years. Full credit to those working, running and maintaining the facility.

worst experience .we were in the queue around 25 minute( after 45minutes travel ), after that they told, i need to go to another gate and pay before I dispose. By the time i reach ( at 12 pm)the lady said just closed. After we explained everything. she said its 12 pm closed. we are there before 12 pm.No proper instructions in the entrance.

I could dispose of my rubbish there which is great. It did smell of waste generally , but I don't mind that ,however I can understand some may find that unpleasant. All staff were wearing fluorescent clothing which helped in my understanding of who was who .Worth a visit.

The guys and lady there are generally helpful and polite.The bothersome thing is that because I have a SMALL white van and I now have to fill in a form everytime I go there despite having permit, which in turn will also cause the queue to he delayed more.

Normally when you go to any store they let you in till it is time to close but here they don't let you in even before time so that they can finish at one.Yesterday I was turned back at few minutes before 1 though the road infront was clear .So I think they exploit the authority
