Sandyhills Beach
Excellent, stunningly beautiful beach, superb for walking the dogs and a lovely day out. Surrounding views are to die for. Didn't want to leave but at this time of year a hot bowl of soup in front of a warm fire was very much needed.

Sandyhills Beach
Such a lovely beach, good soft sand and then also when the tidy is our the sand is good sand castle building sand! Nice rocks to climb too! Very close to the car park so massive bonus. £5 for the carpark but me it was worth it to be close to the bech.

Lovely beach. £5 to park. Toilets and shop. Not too busy when we went. Lots to explore. You can walk along the coast path to Rockcliffe Beach (6 miles) lovely views. Quite hilly. Highly recommend the area.

Lovely family beach. There is a shop and toilets but no cafe. Must take your own refreshments with you. Worth a visit for a long walk along the beach.

Sandyhills Beach
Had a lovely walk along the beach, looked at the caves, and the dog had a good run about. You do have to watch out for the tides here, and we could see and hear the waves in the distance which was quite amazing, and a little scary. It's a good idea to check the tide tables before you set off! There's a small shop and toilet facilities, and you have to pay to use the beach car park. It is definitely worth it.

Sandyhills Beach
Lovely beach at any time of the year, the light, the sky and the colours constantly change. Good for families, our children spent hours on the beach when they were younger digging holes and building castles and dams. Great for long walks along the beach in both directions and some cool caves and rock formations off to the right of the bay. Lovely views and lots of bird life. Keep an eye on the tide times if going for a walk.

Lovely! Stunning views all the way over to Cumbria. £5 parking charge a little steep though.

Stunning beach with the perfect variation of rock pools to explore, golden sand play in and brilliant walks. Dog friendly, child friendly and easily accessible from the carpark.
