I love this cinema! Good selection of independent films, comfy chairs and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in a nice location. The optional Picturehouse membership is worth it too, I've got a good amount free films out of it so far.

Part of the Picturehouse group, cool cinema with great bar/cafe. Parking a bit tight but public car park just behind. Interesting mix of mainstream and arthouse films. Incidences of popcorn and other trash left on floor when the lights come up seem to be lower here than at certain other cinemas !

I phoned a Picture House cinema with an enquiry in June, 3 times in 20 minutes as I got cut off, I have just had my phone bill and am horrified to see that Picture House uses an 0871 premium rate number. I did not know this was 13p for each minute, and of course you have to listen to a long intro recording first. Why is it a premium number? Unnecessary. Also discriminatory against old people who are not all online, and it's just plain customer unfriendly. Moneymaking money grabbing poor service.A sad comment on the people who decide these things, they just live in their own little world blissfully unaware - because they can't be bothered to check, or use their intellect - of other people's problems. We are supposed to have laws against discrimination but they don't seem to work very well.Or is it that the powers that be do know but don't care?I've asked and they won't consider a refund. An unhappy picture house customer. Still there are plenty of other cinemas...............

Independent cinema that makes an effort to add to the film-going experience. Very nice staff, pizzas on the terrace, coffee and bar. Hosted a dog-friendly screening yesterday which was creative and fun.

Nice little cinema with a relaxed atmosphere, good location with a little cafe overlooking at the harbour. Staff very pleasant but please clean tables after previous customers especially when it isn't busy.

Always a pleasant trip when we go to this cinema. Great to have the bar downstairs. Plenty of food and beverage options. Parking is not normally an issue but it can get busy. Would choose this over most other cinemas on the South Coast. Sure I'll be back many more times in the future.

We really like this small cinema. The fact that you can go there a bit early and get something to eat and have a drink looking over the boats is really lovely. The menu could really do with some cheese, charcuterie boards and salads. It is starting to need a bit of refurb here and there. There are only 2 screens and we went into the one on the left. The sound was ok, not fantastic... but the projector really needs attention. The left and right hand sides of the screen are neither straight nor lined up. It just doesn't give the experience it should.Come on Picturehouse.... let's fit this theatre with a decent projector, upgrade to Atmos sound, offer a few more lite bite and sharing platters and this place would be the gem it used to be.

Just the best cinema ever. Friendly staff - all enthusiastic about film. Feels like everyone involved actually loves the place. Great atmosphere. Comfortable seats. Good sound and projection. I often see stuff simply because it's on at this venue and have discovered some gems as a result. Never had a bad experience with other punters either which is sadly rare in places of public entertainment these days.
