I have never been into Zizzi before, and honestly, I wouldn't go again. I have high standards for Italian food. I am Italian and I have run a restaurant business and worked in the industry for 20 years.The food isn't anything close to Italian food, the price for a simple pizza is very expensive and the taste in general was very bland.The pasta was overcooked, the pizza was super thin, and overall, nothing was worth the price.If you have never tried Italian food in Italy maybe you could think that's how we cook in Italy and how the food should taste like but believe me, it is not!

You know when you unexpectedly find yourself at a restaurant and ask if they have room for you, then they sneer at you and ask if you've booked (well, obviously not as you'd have said so, right?)... None of that here. It was ridiculously busy, yet we were welcomed in and shown to a table. Service was friendly and quick. Food was excellent.

Our second lads night out in a month at Zizzi Port Solent. The choice and quality of food was excellent and good value for money. The staff are always very genuine, friendly and helpful - thanks to Beth and Laura who went above and beyond to make our night a good one.

Just want to say a massive thank you to Fred. Who served me and my friend this evening he was so bubbly and patient too throughout our time at zizi's. Food was lovely and it was a great evening. It was very busy but still nice that me and my friend could still talk and catch up.

A most warming and comforting welcome was received. I loved the warming of the pizza oven whilst we were tucking into our meal, so warm and cosy I could've stayed there all afternoon. Can't wait to return.

We were a group of 10. Found the food delicious and enjoyed each bite. Everyone likes it here and has been a few times. It's expensive but prices have gone up everywhere. So, i think it's justified. It's very loud in there, and I found it hard to hear the oerson beside me. The reason I gave 4 stars is because we had to call the waitress over to get the bill after waiting 20 minutes firbher to come over. When we got the bill and oaid it with the service charge, we saw they had 11 main meals on it. So, I had to then have a refund, this is not very professional and the worst thing possible when you're in a large group. All it took was for the waitress to do her job properly. It's a shame because this can cause people to not want to go out again.

Thursday 27th October 2022 7pmOur friends arranged a get together and suggested here, never been before but we like Italian food so win win, me and my husband arrived a little bit earlier than our friends and before our time, but we were warmly greeted and shown to our table, asked straight away if we would like a drink got those pretty quickly then our friends arrived.We ordered dinner and while we were chatting with our friends it didn't take long to arrive, looked great, smelled great couldn't wait to dig in our friends had extra parmasan cheese on theirs which the server does at the table I liked that.Dinner was fantastic tasted so good, the server warned us about the plates being really hot and they had a sticker to remind us I like that touch (pun intended).After dinner which wasn't rushed, we ordered pudding and more drinks our server was very attentive, puddings looked great, smelled good, tasted so good.Reasonable prices for what you get.Service was impeccable, we chatted with our server he was nice, kind, funny.Facilities was clean and easy accessible.All on one level which I like coz me and stairs are not a happy combo.Defo will be coming back.Amazing evening was had by all of us.Thank you Zizzi's

A visit with friends to Zizzi today. Couldn’t fault the food and service, good value for money. The only thing that I would say about the restaurant was that it was so cold in there. Other than that we had a nice meal out.
