Loved Newcastle. It was much smaller than expected , nice surprise. Excellent range of shops, restaurants and bars. You can find everything you need within walking distance. Really friendly people who were happy to help with a smile. Would I return a big YES!

Impressive train station, one of the biggest in the UK. Toilets are on platform 3; don't let me tell you what happens if you're waiting on platform 7....you may never make it!

An overall satisfactory train station. The environment is reasonably clean and well-maintained. There is a reasonable presence of designated waiting areas and signs around the station are adequate. There are however, very limited options in terms of cafes and other refreshment amenities. There is also a general lack of power outlets around the station, which can be frustrating if you have a long changeover here.

Clean, access to every part of UK. Options to grab something to eat. In the heart of the city. Easily accessible by bus, taxi, metro, cab etc. Very helpful staff.

A decent train station offering a wide range of routes across the country. There are several amenities around the station that cater for most needs and it is fairly easy to navigate.

This was a grand station for usage, set in a colossal vintage building! The platforms are appropriately sized for the trains, exit is grand too and the station signs are solidly maintained. Departure boards are available all around which were updated in real time, metro underground is a fabulous section right by the station and has a smooth design!
