Great pub, fantastic atmosphere, good juke box and friendly staff. Miss Jack and Dot's rag puddings though. They were the days. Live music at weekends. What's not to like? Five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have been using this pub for over 40 years in its various guises, essentially its a local. Beer in excellent form, this visit marred by bunch sat at the bar seriously foul and loud language effing every other word and c word being used in times past maybe tap room should not be used it public bar lounge in mixed company. Disappointing once the guys in question had left much more enjoyable atmosphere. Staff should have stopped this language being used.

What's not to like about this local? Couldn't possibly be nearer unless it was next door. Dobby is a great host- if a tad barky- just a shame they don't have food on, Sunday lunch would be a treat!
