Castle Farm Campsite
Very basic but great views. Spoilt by somebody pitching up far too close despite loads of room everywhere else. Would go back but would try and pick a quiet mid-week time.

Castle Farm Campsite
Loved this place. It's close to the river with plenty of space for tents, van's and yurts alike. The local pub is nearby but don't forget your torch at night. There is one lonely portaloo which in our experience was always clean and topped up with loo roll. Will definitely visit again, next time for longer.

Great location for a paddle in your canoe. Campsite located on hills so something to bare in mind if you're looking for a flat pitch you will struggle in peak times. Toilets are 2 portaloos. No showers. 2 minute walk to where Fotheringhay castle used to stand (just a mound now). All in all a pleasant, but very basic campsite. Price was £20 for 2 adults in May 2023.

Such a lovely back to basics campsite - stunning views and easy access to the river.Paddleboarding at 6am was a beautiful, peacefull treat!

Castle Farm Campsite
This is a lovely natural campsite. The site is a bit hilly so choose your pitch carefully, my group chose a spot up a hill towards the back of the field. The big attraction for us was the lovely river on site, where you can wild swim, kayak and paddle board. Be aware that there is no toilet block (just portaloos), no shower and no hot water/sinks.

Lovely back to basics camp site. Right by the river nene, 5 minutes away from the falcon pub. Clean porta loo and a fire pit you can borrow. We had a great night there.

Wonderful site with historical interest, great views and refreshing swimming in the River Nene. There were 3 portaloos on our visit in July 2023! We arrived by bike, without booking and stayed one night. There was plenty of space and we easily found a sheltered flat spot for a small tent! And no problem settling up online.

Excellent back to basics site. Our group was up the hill but close to the river. No big deal getting down the slope with our kayaks. It's a place I would definitely visit again. Our launch spot..... 2 minute walk back to tents

Lovely, spacious quiet site.Stayed longer than we originally intended in our motorhome !It proved that a hook-up is not essential to life !Looking forward to re-visiting as soon as possible.Thank you, Charles.
