Mimosa Garden Design

I have just had, my requested, first year maintenance visit from the magical Mimosa, garden team. I say magic because they ‘wave’ their garden tools and always make my small garden look amazing!Just over a year ago Mimosa designed a new garden area for us, with patio, winding paths, linking the few existing garden objects of interest, and old shrubs were renovated. The transformation was stunning and gave us an area we were able to enjoy and felt able to relax in, rather than somewhere which had been disjointed, and decidedly messy, where one couldn’t sit without noticing jobs, weeds etc. It was a truly bespoke design, creating a colourful cottage garden. It started blooming in the early spring and continued well into the autumn, it was a joy to watch the plants perform.Mimosa’s plant knowledge is extensive. There are always suggestions of suitable plants for the different soil types and the different areas of light within the garden. They know how to use colour and texture and allow each plant to ‘shine.’At the recent return visit nothing was too much trouble, the team were friendly and sought my thoughts of how they might proceed. The previously renovated shrubs had all produced new growth and were duly pruned, and in some cases trained to walls. The team had an obvious love of plants and could see if they were thriving and happy where they had been placed.I think the guiding principle of the visit, was to be sure our enjoyment of the garden would continue after its winter’s rest.

Very nice people. We had a small budget for this project but Lucie and the team have transformed the space.We are excited to see how the planting reveals itself in the Spring/Summer.
