A55 Plumbing and Heating

First of I would like to thank Mark who came to complete the job, he did a great job and I’m very pleased with the work.The reason for my 2 star review is mainly due to the experience with Peter.First I raised a pluming issue with the company whom came out quite quickly initially to inspect the problem and find a remedy for a fix, Mark did silicone the area (not required though as it wasn’t the problem and we had no intention of using our shower until the issue was completely resolved), I was told I would get a call the next week when Peter was back from holiday, 2 weeks later I still didn’t receive a call, I tried calling on a few occasions and the phone was put down on the other end. I eventually got through and spoke to Peter in the third week as I sent a message regarding the unresponsiveness, I was told a time that they could come the next week but I had to pay the invoice first (I did not receive an invoice, and I didn’t expect one considering the work was not completed) any way I paid the invoice and they came around to look at the problem, they worked a solution and I had agreed with the solution, (I still not receive a quote, they got on with the work and removed our shower, and I was told I would receive to call when the floor had dried up.I called and again no answers, the phone calls were cut off from the other side, no messages received from the other side, I decided to send them a more direct email asking why they were ghosting my calls and asked if they treated everyone this way, any way I eventually got a call from a very nice lady who arranged a time for the work to be completed, Mark came around and removed everything from the bathroom and replaced the subfloor and did an incredible job, thank you Mark.I received an invoice 2 weeks later by and reported a separate leak which was very quickly resolved.The main reason for my 2 star review is due to the broken promise of a quote, the demand I pay an invoice before work was fully completed (The silicone work was also unnecessary £120), the complete lack of communication, the rudeness of putting phone calls down when trying to calls.The lovely lady I spoke to said the best form of communication was via email, which it certainly was.I have been with A55 for many years and they do a great job generally but I did not have the best experience over the 5 weeks doing this job.

We had an appointment for today so took time off work didn't turn up and didn't ring would not recommend re your reply the time was between 12 and 3pm

Waste of time! Waited in all day twice only for their gas fitter to fix our boiler so we can have hot water only for them to not turn up or bothering to call and say there was an issue coming out to the job. My husband's calls and texts to find out what was happening were ignored so I called from my own phone and he answered straight away.ok no worries will find some one more reliable for the job

Called about a couple of leaks in new property and they came out the next morning. Ended up staying a few hours as there were a number of leaks. Persisted until all work was finished and price was very reasonable.

They attend to do the easy boiler service, but when it's a bit trickier, like repairing a bath tap, they ignore you. Not recommended.

Made contact with Peter to discuss plumbing for 5 bathrooms; he said he would come and visit the property. He didn't respond to messages or phone calls from me which attempted to establish when he was going to attend - he just turned-up, unannounced, whilst I was in the middle of a work phone call. I left the call to show him around the property; he then disappeared promising to call, but I subsequently heard nothing. Further messages/calls went unanswered. Very unprofessional conduct - just let would-be customers know what's going on! Every - reasonable - person knows that life and other work is busy, but being left dangling by tradesmen like this is frustrating in the extreme for any customer. Deeply unimpressive.

I've used Peter and his guys a few times now for my yearly boiler service, and I can't fault them.A pressure sensor in my boiler needed replacing, and the job was done within an hour of calling A55 Plumbing and Heating.I would definitely recommend A55

DO NOT USE.Rip off. As someone who doesn’t have a clue about boilers I wouldn’t know the right price for anything. Since having other plumbers come out and fix A55 plumbers damage, i realised how much I was ripped off.Unprofessional service, the job I wanted doing was done but ended up breaking the boiler even worse which cost mehundreds more by another company. A55 plumbers refused to come back unless I paid them another call out fee, despite it was them who broke it more in the first place. Not to mention my carpet which was flooded when A55 plumbers left the job, which they failed to mention.Very very disappointing
