Absolutely fantastic place to eat and drink.The owners have put a lot of time, effort and money in to this place recently and it has paid off. Looking forward to spending afternoons in the beer garden when its finished.The cheese and wine platter is a fantastic experience and the quality of the platter is better than any high end restaurants in the area.Worth a visit if youre in the area and if you live here make it your local!

Met 2 of my school friends who I have known for 53 years. My baby sister joined us too. I live in Darlington and so left the meet-up place to my 2 friends. They chose well. We were there for over 5 hours and the service, atmosphere and food were brilliant.

Absolutely delicious food, been in with family for Sunday dinner a few times. The beef was absolutely gorgeous. Tried the chicken and was a bit dry but tasty nonetheless. Can be very busy and loud at times but that’s to be expected with any pub.

Popped in for some food local to our new workplace and wow we were absolutely blown away, the staff, the food and atmosphere were spectacular this for sure will be a new regular spot for us!!The place was packed which we can now understand why!

Been here a few times and normally love it. The food was really disappointing tonight, salt and pepper parmo with no cheese or bechamel sauce and very little topping(the chicken was tasty). Deconstructed cheesecake. The staff were very nice.

Best pub food in the area by a country mike. The new menu is unreal, can’t recommend it enough.
