The zip on my favourite cargo trousers burst and , as I had used their services when I worked in the Scottish Parliament, I dropped in to see them. Very polite and professional and the member of Staff informed me that they also have a pick up / delivery service. My cargoes were delivered a day early, nice sturdy zip and ironed! They’re not used to that! Recommend them to one and all

I contacted Needle and Thread through the Google messaging service and they were very quick to respond. I needed my wedding dress altered and wanted to go somewhere with a convenient, easy to access location and good reviews/online presence. As I'm petite, the dress was too long and the shoulders were too big (see second photo for before photo). The owner, James, was so lovely and ensured my dress was taken up to how I wanted it and with the train taken up to suit. Everyone in his team were really lovely and supportive and gave me a lot of confidence with how I looked in the dress. They listened to my comments and needs and ensured they were fulfilled, which was important to me with this being my wedding dress. James really looked after me with sorting this and I can't thank him enough. He takes pride in his work and ensures standards are kept high. I didn't hesitate taking the dress straight back after the wedding to be cleaned and now I know when I need any clothing issues sorted, I can go here.

I used this business to have curtains I love altered to suit new decor, and shorten my favourite coat. What a great job they did, at a reasonable price.I’m delighted with both jobs and will definitely be back again!5 stars would be more if it was possible.Many thanks!

the best cleaners in town ! i had a terrible biro ink accident on my jacket. they took such care & effort to get the correct chemicals for my blue messy stain. when i went to pick up what i thought would still be a jacket with an ugly blue stain- albeit perhaps paler- i was given my jacket back - it was in the true sense of the word spotless ".the other truly awful dry cleaners in blackhall ( prestige ) had quoted me £ 200 with no promise of success.. so i can only highly recommend this business & thank them so very much . a delight to fins a private business which really does care. no many of them around."

I required some alterations to a three piece suit that just didn't fit great. Needed the suit dry cleaned too. After a horrible experience at another dry cleaners I was apprehensive finding a new service but the professionalism I was met with before and after the process has restored my faith! Alterations were perfect and the suit fits like a dream now.Have since returned for further dry cleaning, alterations and even some repairs and have been thoroughly chuffed with results each time. Must add that the owner is very nice and makes an effort to get to know his customers and drum up business, impressive customer care.

Used chemicals on a blouse that ended up worse than the stain I took the blouse in with. Didn’t apologise or even offer a refund. Amateurs, they really don’t know what they are doing!
