Branston & Heighington Family Practice

Took them over 2 months to complete a referral form so I couldn’t use my private healthcare until they did. Chased them on this and they had given it to a doctor that was on holiday the next day. Also don’t complete work they say they will or leave notes for the next member of staff so you have to repeat yourself every visit because they are always using consultant staff as they are endlessly ‘short staffed’ understand they are trying their best but it just simply isn’t good enough.

Amazing Doctors practice… had to arrange appointments every week for a month… phone service is great, the call back feature is really handy. Got the option for a virtual appointment which I took them up on for one of the 4 occasions. Received same day appointment within hours of calling them. Convenient check in process and the doctor comes and greets you… 5 stars… oh and the pharmacy is about 20 steps away… a one stop shop for all your medical needs.

His surgery has been amazing. I can't thank them high enough I met kiera the nurse first visit and have felt well and truly cared for they are so though. They have carried out tests that should of been done years ago. But I was at a different drs and missed. Would recommend this very highly. Thank you receptionists. Nurses and Dr's what a fantastic team. Truly grateful

The medical professionals at this place are astounding, I've had numerous complex psychiatric issues over the years and have been dealt with the upmost respect, kindness and empathy by the doctors and nurses there. Dr Mahalingham called me many hours after closing time, purely to catch up in relation to my meds. The people there seem to treat their job as a vocation and it's quite humbling. It's very easy for us to point the finger and complain about waiting times and difficulty getting appointments, perhaps if we aimed that ire at the government or changed our voting habits then there wouldn't be those issues. The surgery's staff are astounding and they are fighting a difficult, thankless and tiring war against poor funding. Irrespective of that though, they are remarkable.

Great improvements made! The new phone system works really well. Doctors really listened to us and understood our needs. Very reassuring and created a plan B for if we needed it. Well done! Thats the doctors care I remember when I first transfered here

Very professional service at the Branston surgery yesterday. Phoned for an appointment, very quickly assessed as needing to see a Doctor on the same day. The Lady Doctor was excellent with a thorough examination of the problem and practical advice.Parking continues to be an issue though. One wonders what will happen as more houses are built in the village.

Cant fault Suzanne advanced nurse and Angela the Asthma nurse ...but as for the rest of the team at the surgery...words fail me .

Doctor Cannell is amazing and so are the nurses

This practice is a joke, can never get in, my 3 month old is poorly, and off his feeds and no wet nappies for 24 hours, screaming and temperature even though I've given medicine to help. I tell the receptionist and they don't seem bothered and fob me off that they have no appointments left and I should ring at 8am, when I've been trying to get through since 8am. I ask for a doctor call back and they tell me that they can't. He's only little, I call 111 who tell me to call the practice as they have a duty of care but then I do and Branston still don't listen, no wonder people misuse A&E. I will be leaving this surgery. This surgery needs major improvement.
