Went for a private group afternoon tea. All home made, very tasty. What you couldn't eat they boxed up for you to take home.

Was here for private function. Lounge Bar area and function room were clean, well decorated with a number of yesteryear prints adorning the walls, warm and completely separate from public bar, real fire in bar area making it a cosy place to sit. The bar was tended by Becky who was very friendly and attentive. The bar itself was well stocked with a choice of beers and lagers on tap, bottled imported beers, as is the current trend there was a number of micro distilled gins available along with a lesser number of vodkas and the usual spirits. Both red and white wines were available from single serve bottles and completely palatable. Prices were reasonable and comparable with the area.Overall a very pleasant experience in comfortable surroundings with faultless customer service.
