Off The Record

As a student suffering psychologically under the burden of the work, Off the record helped me more than i can express. My counselor was kind, understanding, nonjudgmental, and friendly and helped me work through the issues i faced.Their policy of pay what you can allowed me to continue with counselling despite a dire financial situation. This place probably saved my life

The first councillor I saw was an absolute b***h who treated me like everything was my fault (I suffer from chronic depression and anxiety). Luckily the next one was fantastic. However, I had to miss 3 appointments, all of which I phoned them up at least 48 hours before hand. The first was because of food poisoning and the second was because of the flu. The third time I phoned to cancel, I was given a lecture by the person on the other end about missing appointments. I curtly explained that the reason for missing this appointment was because I was rushed into hospital with Pancreatitis and was awaiting emergency surgery to rectify it. I was STILL lectured to with not one get well soon" or "we're sorry to hear that" In conclusion

Off The Record have provided professional and extremely helpful counselling both in respect of marital and individual problems.
