Excellent bouldering with a wide range of walls and circuits. Most of the holds are very high quality. The setting seems to be on grade and varied, although there doesn't seem to be much challenging stuff on the slab compared to the rest of the centre. Prices are reasonable for what you get. There is also a great range of climbing gear available to buy if you don't have chalk or whatever. Could also use a bit more signage on the way in as it's a bit tucked away.

Great new facility well set routes for all abilities. Off the beaten track in a grotty industrial estate with very poor roads full of potholes, no signposts and poor lighting. Coffee, choice of snacks and playlist stillhave room for improvement. The bouldering is top class.

I’ve visited this bouldering wall a couple of times now and I really enjoy the climbing routes that they create. They are really different to the comp routes that I usually use and I find the Lancaster Wall climbs fun but challenging. I’d definitely visit again. The changing area and bathrooms are clean and I don’t mind the mixed gender layout. The parking can get very full very quickly. They also do a loyalty card scheme, which is a nice addition. The small shop that they have, has a mixture of bits that can get you equipped for both indoor and outdoor climbing. I’d recommend you visiting.

As a beginner boulderer I've found the wall to be really welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of variety in the problems for all skill levels. The centre had some really convienient opening times, great staff and a reasonable selection of gear in the shop. The wall has a good reputation with all the climbers I've spoken to who rate it as one of the best indoor bouldering to be found in the North West

Amazing staff with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere from both the staff and the bouldering community who attend Lancaster Wall. Couldn't have asked for a better introduction for my 15yr old into the world of climbing.

Fantastic climbing wall, very new and modern. All the staff are really friendly and very compassionate. They are connected to two other climbing walls in the north of England which are also excellent. Me and my partner come climbing here all the time. 10/10 recommend

So happy we have a boulder in Lancs! Great variety of routes and helpful staff. A bit far away from the city centre and the access is through pretty sketchy and not so well lit street so I be careful when walking alone after dark.

This place is brilliant. Took my 10 year old Son and we loved it. Been 3 times now.The Staff who looked after us were excellent. Once signed off as a Supervisor you can visit with a Child under 14 without the Supervision of a member of the Team. All equipment can be hired and you can buy light refreshments on site.

I really enjoyed my visit here. Well equipt gym area, interesting, and enjoyable variety in the setting of problems. I always like to see wood holds in a gym! I liked that they have one permanent set that goes through the grades, which I thought was an excellent idea. I would definitely enjoy visiting again and would recommend it.
