Slightly disappointed the other branches closed, but I continue to travel when I need waxing, as this is the only wax I have found that doesn’t react to my skin on my underarms.Truthfully, always seems to be bits missed on my legs - but that is probably due to my hair growing in all different directions. Could maybe do with slightly better lighting in the rooms but other than that no real complaints.The staff are lovely. Always chatty. And even when I hadn’t been in a few months still remembered things I’d told them previously which was lovely.Overall always a positive experience and I will continue to travel for it

Min and the team are amazing! having just moved from London, I'm always nervous when trying somewhere new but Min was incredible and made me feel right at ease. Would recommend and reasonably priced. I'm just sorry I didn't come here sooner! Bikini wax (Brazilian) expertly done. I felt super comfortable and was very happy with the results.

Ranjit was absolutely amazing!Normally when I get my brows threaded it can be quite painful but she was so gentle and professional.100% would go back again

Stay clear unless you want to waste your money! Had a full body done by Ranjit around 3 times before my latest one, and they’ve all been pretty much fine. However when I went in a couple of weeks ago I think as she had back to back clients (not saying this is a fault of her own) she seemed to be rushing. I had nearly 5 months worth of hair growth so the result of the wax should’ve been perfect (I am trained in waxing/ beauty myself so would know). I’d also been exfoliating, and always make sure I exfoliate everyday for a week before a wax to make sure there are no ingrowns. Ranjit herself said as she was about to begin the wax that I should have a really nice result due to the length of the hairs! A day or two after my appointment I noticed my legs etc felt very prickly and hairs were starting to show already. There were also patches of longer hairs still there. I called WXD about this (and was intending on still going back after things were rectified) but Ranjit was originally very defensive and said it was all my fault and all my hairs were ingrown, which was not true at all! However, the manager asked me to come in. Zara was the only person in and she attempted to wax the hairs but most were too short and she also said the hairs were broken because I hadn’t used the right thing to exfoliate, and although I knew this wasn’t true- to prevent them from being able to use this excuse in future I purchased their scrub for £25. After using it it made my skin itchy and red for days and smelt very off- but it says it’s in date so I didn’t raise this with the salon. I did re contact them about the issue with my hair growth as £80 is a lot of money for my hairs to be feeling like I have shaved. The manager kind of pressured me into allowing ranjit to rectify the situation and to come in again in another week rather than taking a partial refund. I had to change the day quite last minute due to childcare; and when I last went in the manager wasn’t there AGAIN to see the mess I’d been left in. She’d changed my appointment time without telling me, most likely to try and make it so I had to make yet another 50 minute round trip drive to the salon. And Ranjit wasn’t aware of the updated situation. Ranjit took a look at the hairs and said because of how they are she wouldn’t be able to wax them for a good few weeks otherwise they’d break again! The manger refunded me the £25 for the scrub over the phone, as I didn’t need to purchase it and was missold the product, and said she personally thinks that the situation is resolved and sorted and would not give me any more of her time, nevermind ask if I feel that everything is settled! I have visited the salon 3-4 times over this upset, and have obviously paid nearly £100 for a service that I could’ve had from a £5 razor! The manager, and sometimes ranjit, are very rude and patronising. I will not be giving any more of my money to WXD unless it has a change of hands, and I will be warning people to steer clear.

I’ve been going to wxd for over a year now and always book my treatments with Ranjit. Ranjit is professional and friendly and to be honest, only down side is that she is busy - everyone wants to book treatments with her. See you next week ranjit and thank you.

I had a full body wax with Ranjit, and I must say, the service was brilliant! Ranjit's experience and professionalism shone through, as she made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and the results were of a high standard.
