Hunscote Farm Shop and Nursery

Called in to purchase fresh meat to find majority of the meat on offer is frozen maybe an idea to make it clear on website .

Shop here most weeks. Vegetables always fresh and well kept A good range of their own beef and lamb plus lots of local goodies. Happy to recommend them.

I don't recognise the previous reviewer's comments about Hunscote Farm Shop. They have been tremendous throughout the lockdown period putting in place a very efficient online/phone ordering system with payment over the phone and calling back with a collection slot time. Since opening the shop they have a safe queuing system outdoors but undercover, provision of gloves, which must be worn for everyone's safety, at a small cost, a one way system round the shop and one person a time at the till with contactless payment. Only two or three people are in the shop at any point and exit is via a different route to avoid passing people. They have been amazing, always friendly and frankly have kept many of us going with essential produce and lovely nursery plants over the past three months. I hope that people will continue to support this local business when 'normal' times resume. I certainly will. Thank you Hunscote.

Fabulous local farmshop. Great variety of produce and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We tried their own reared beef and it was very nice. The cakes and pies always go down well with my family.

Produce was great but customer service was sadly lacking. The owner was outright rude to me about wearing gloves in her shop, blatantly said oh you touched it you have to buy it now, costs me money. This was shouted out across the ship in front of several people.No sign in place about compulsory glove wearing and other customers not wearing said gloves. Will not be returning back there and if you want comedic customer service them this is the place to go. Owner could easily have learnt her customer service skills from Basil Fawlty.

Great produce, excellent selection and really friendly service. A well run business where you can tell the family really care about their customers, would definitely recommend

Brilliant local farm shop. We’ve had eggs, veggies, a couple of joints, steaks and bacon from here, all were fresh and either from the farm itself or locally sourced and the quality and taste of everything have been fantastic .We will be stopping buying from the supermarket anything that we can purchase from the farm shop. Customer service has always been super friendly and helpful as well.

Worth checking out, l go there for the Nardicott oranges and home made cakes, but there's more than that. Jams, chutneys frozen local meat cuts, eggs, fresh fruit and veg.

Lovely, friendly family run farm shop with home grown bedding plants, some pots, bird and dog food plus a wide selection of locally baked cakes, fresh fruit and veg and a variety of potted foods and frozen local meats.
