I booked my car in with Merv to have a faulty soft close boot latch diagnosed and repaired on my BMW. Merv was ready and waiting at the agreed date and time at the workshop. He diagnosed the issue and provided an excellent repair to solve the issue on this occasion on the same day. I found his manner, knowledge and communication to be just as impressive as his ability to solve the issue and cannot recommend him highly enough to others for electrical repairs. His knowledge of older BMW models was very impressive and I feel lucky to have found and taken my car to Autoelectron for repair. Top class from start to finish.

Mini Cooper S Fusebox/SPEG repair. Excellent Service!After diagnosing a potential fuel pump relay issue in the fusebox/SPEG, quite common apparently. I spent a few hours Googling DIY repairs, as a new part from Mini is silly expensive and difficult to get hold.Fortunately I found Merv at Autoelectron, Harrogate, although over a 3 hour round trip for me it was well worth the time and effort. I dropped the part off with Merv at about 9:30am and it was ready to collect by 11am, just as he said it would. As such I was back home, had the part installed by mid afternoon and a perfectly running car again.Merv is friendly guy who certainly knows his is stuff, he responded to my emails quickly, even over a weekend!If you choose to drop off and wait for the repair, I would definitely recommend a full breakfast at Fodders while Merv works his magic.

Merv saved the day for my Audi a4's convertible roof. £99 and fixed the issue in 90 minutes. Would highly recommend.

I was advised to come here by my mechanic for an electrical issue on my car and I can 100% see why. Merv fixed my car no issue and even warned me about my battery not being great. Merv is a genius! After many months of searching, I’d almost given up and then a friend with an Audi TT recommended I contact Merv about my Alfa 939 hood problem. Merv managed to fix the hood electrics (which had suffered serious water damage) and diagnose/reset the whole electrical system. Travelled over to meet Marv to get my GM5 module repaired. Done in a matter of about 30 mins maybe. Working like brand new. I installed the module incorrectly and this caused an issue with the windows which meant I had to go back but Marv was more than helpful and got everything sorted after some diagnosing. Fairly priced and good service.

Just had my electrics on my wiper blades sorted by Merv . Done a great job I can see why he's 5 ⭐ would highly recommend thank you regards Andrew

Merv was amazing! Fixed a fault on our vw transporter that many other garages said was Un-fixable and we needed a new part costing over £600 and Merv fixed it for under £100, all while we waited as well as we weren’t local! So happy to have it fixed and not be ripped off.Definitely would recommend! Really friendly too :)
