5* service. I called the garage and booked in for the next day (lucky) as I had a problem with my Astra, a rattling noise from the front. Matthew, who delt with my car was extremely professional and helpful. He contacted me 30 mins later, told me what the problem was with the car and how much it would cost to repair. The work was carried out promptly and to a high standard. The garage is clean and tidy, and them being part of the 'good garage scheme' you know your being dealt with by the good guys. Proper garage, proper job & excellent value. Highly recommend. Will be using again 100%! (hopefully not too soon lol)

Matt is friendly and reliable. I have taken my car here a few times over the years and it’s always sorted to a high standard. Been for various reasons including brakes, bulbs, MOT & service - probably more!

Really nice people and proper mechanics who aren't just there to rip you off.I have taken my Audi A6 to Collett & Coates three times now for various things, and on each occasion have felt that the work done has been what has been required - and at a keen price too.Compare this with (for instance) the main dealers where the work done is invariably inflated to cover things which would comfortably last well past the next service - and where the prices charged are shameless too!The confidence which comes from dealing with a specialist is worth the journey to get to the garage. It's not a big glamorous and therefore expensive site - but what matters is what happens to the car when it's there and I am completely happy with that.Thank you gents - I'll definitely be back next time.

I first started using Collett & Coates last September, when I needed a clutch quickly doing on a Hyundai Coupe. Symon & Matt were really friendly, prices very competitive and a top class service that went above and beyond.Since then I've taken my car to these guys a few times. Every time I've experienced an honest local garage; that don't do work that isn't required and are more than happy to take time explaining things.

I have known Matthew Coates since he was an Apprentice Motor Mechanic. He has spent over twenty years in the industry and has worked for the Major Dealers" so whatever car you are having trouble with Matt can sort it! I have had all my cars looked after by Matt since he set up his own business. Excellent service at all times and he always keeps me informed of progress and costs. Booked full Service on my Audi as this place was recommended on Good Garage Scheme. Genuine Audi parts used. Good price compared with dealership. Both Matt and Simon are friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service and had my car back within three hours with a wash and vac. Definitely will return next year!!!

Needed my clutch looking at for my BMW 5 Series. Quickly booked it in and diagnosed the problem - flywheel replaced at an extremely good cost. Guys there were so good - really happy with the work and customer service from them. It was so good I booked my annual service with them 3 days later. It's so hard to find a garage which you can trust but will be going back every time from now on.

Matt always provides the most efficient service. Always honest and upfront about the work needed and strives to keep the price at the minimum. Work needed is always done to the highest quality. Have been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else. Don’t hesitate to contact for any work needed on your car!
