Really lovely place to go. It is well worth the price, from service to food to atmosphere, everything was 5 stars.Margaritas were all amazing regardless of which one you chose (my favourite was mango).The nachos were a great starter but would’ve also made a great meal for someone. All the tacos we ordered were delicious. I had the steak tacos, which had a lovely marinade with more of a kick than I was expecting (not complaining though) and an absolutely delicious cheese twirl and salsa.I would also recommend having the churros for dessert if you have room and get both sauces as they are equally delicious.All the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and always ready to take an extra drink order.

I'd like to start by saying the staff were phenomenal.I kind of enjoyed my experience of Carlito Burrito.However I found certain aspects very disappointing.I ordered the fish tacos myself, which by quote of the restaurant would change my life.Sadly they did not, the taco tortilla was quite soggy causing it to fall apart, the fish was just plain cod which is quite boring, especially when you're paying £12 for two tacos. The rest of the ingredients were nice, but overall i was quite dissatisfied with them.The classic margarita was again okay, but not fantastic. It tasted very watered down and it was absent of the intensity and flavour I believe margaritas are popular for, I may be incorrect but I am almost certain the margaritas are premixed, which is pretty shady when you're playing £8 for it. Even if it tastes the same, it's nice to have a drink made from it's constituent ingredients rather than poured from a bottle, that's supermarket standards.The nachos were a big hit for us, great texture and flavour, every part played it's role fantastically and I'd very much enjoy having them again.Overall I enjoyed Carlito Burrito, perhaps burritos would've been a better bet (but i wanted my life changed). I'd like to go again and give it a second chance, but with so many fantastic restaurants in Brighton, with more opening daily, what's the point in risking a bad experience?

The lack of spice levels and the overall flavour quality, which I would rate at a mere 30%, is quite disappointing. Despite the establishment’s seemingly non-corporate, passionate approach to their business, it unfortunately detracts from Brighton’s culinary reputation, especially given its high rating of 4.4 stars. I have given this place a chance on two separate occasions, years apart, and with different companions; yet, none of us left feeling impressed. Perhaps a rebranding or shift in focus towards operating as a Mexican bar, maybe? Wish them the best, hope it improves.

I was impressed by this place.Not only the waiting team was cheerful and eager to explain their food.I really liked the Michelada, probably the main reason why I went there in the first place. It was tasty and not too spicy, just right. I really recommend it.The Nachos are simply it! Generous portion with original taste, very well done and served at the right temperature. A delight!The burrito was good. I wanted to try the chorizo one but the waiter pointed out that in the heat it would have been a bit much. The chicken was tender and flavourful, teen rice was fresh together with the vegetables. Absolutely delicious.I will come back for sure, and you should try it too.

Had no plans for lunch but due to a delay in a meeting ended up here. Was greeted by a friendly Stephanie how seated us.I loveeee corn on the cob in a Mexican restaurant and exactly ordered that.Followed by Jackfruit burrito and mint lemonade.The spices on the corn…uff.. I can still taste it!The interiors are beautiful but what is even more beautiful is the hospitality. I love when people working at a restaurant genuinely feel for the food and place there and give a touching experience to the diners.Amazing food and amazing place!100% recommended.We spent 40£ for a meal for two.

Food was so so yummy and staff are friendly. But I guess they need to hire more people to be able to provide a better service.We had tacos and they were delicious! But too small unfortunately, especially for it's price.

Very Authentic restaurant, the staff are very friendly, and the food is delicious! One of the best Mexican restaurants I've tried. The chicken quesadillas is my favourite thing on the menu. The pork burrito was also delicious and full of flavour.
