What an experience...5 stars all the way! Everyone on board had an amazing day and cant wait to do it all again soon. The family who run and own the boat are so lovely and could not be more helpful.If you want a day out, with no hassle, this is definitely worth booking.Just a perfect day!

Noticing this new boat for the first time, moored up near our home in Worsley, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to test our boating skills once again. New and spotless, we had a family day on board and moored up for lunch at Castle fields, Manchester. This route had no locks - incase you are new to narrow boating and don't want the challenge - but we had so much fun that we intend booking again soon but this time on an alternative route with locks! Fantastic day out for my 60th with friends and family . Vicky who gave us the briefing and showed us how to steer the boat was so friendly and helpful . She stayed with us for the first 15 mins at or request the. Jumped off when we were confident to take it ourselves . Great fun , great company to deal with and a really nice boat . This was an amazing experience! We told our captain, Vickie, that we wanted to see if we would like/could do narrow boating (we have no experience at all with boats). Vickie started out, but let us take over and drive, moor, drive past other boats, etc. Vickie was patient and an excellent instructor and just a joy to hang out with. We were able to customize the trip to meet our needs. Give them a call!

BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! From my first email to enquire about hiring Marilyn (the canal boat) as a means of transport from my home in Worsley to my birthday party in Manchester, I received nothing but outstanding service!! The team were so helpful and allowed me to customise my experience. Arriving early I set the boat up, which comes with all necessary amenities and facilities. We sailed down to Castlefield where we pulled up outside the venue I had hired and we got so much attention!! I couldn't recommend this company enough... The staff here, a family, are so friendly and welcoming. I chose to hire a skipper (which is optional) and John was absolutely fantastic on the day! Thank you all at Worsley Day Boat Hire - you provided me the 30th birthday I'll never forget. I'm sure we will be hiring again as everyone LOVED this experience.

Such a great family run business/boat , the boat is brand new and absolutely spotless, nothing is too much trouble, we booked the boat to head over to old Trafford and honestly couldn’t asked for a better day ! Vic and John made sure we had such a good trip into Manchester , we had our 9 year old with us as well and she absolutely loved it ! Seriously what a fun way to head into town… will definitely be booking again for our next celebration.Really convenient to get to the day boat as well and we could take our own food/drinks on board.Really really worth it ! Thanks guys xxx

We had the most wonderful experience when we recently hired Marilyn for the day! We took a gentle meander into Manchester City Centre for lunch docking in Castlefield. Our return included seeing one of the bridges open to allow a huge ship through which added to the magic of the day and also meant that we sailed back into Worsley just as the sun was setting which made for the most perfect end to the day! Vicky and her team were exceptional, so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We will be booking many more days with Worsley Day Boat hire and cannot recommend highly enough!
