CCM Motorcycles

I’d consider myself new to CCM because I bought a pre-owned Scrambler motorcycle in June 2022 from a private seller. I’ve not rode a motorcycle for somewhere in the region 29-30yrs prior to this purchase. The previous owner had kept all the servicing up to date and had it serviced the month before I bought it from him. I’d only covered approx 600mls last year and I am hoping to exceed this mileage this year? I decided to use CCM for the servicing and originally rang up for a home service but for reasons out of CCM’s control this couldn’t happen. CCM rang me to explain the situation and I asked them not to refund my payment as I was going to look at bringing the bike through personally? This date arrived, I turned up at CCM and the staff were amazing, looking over my bike but threw a curve ball. My frame was an original of a type, which was needing replacement. Explained it will take approx 6wks and the frame replacement costs were not for me to be concerned with. They had rang me a couple of times & emailed as a follow up, in this period, to make sure I was sure with the colour I’d chosen, any extra work I needed and the service to be carried out.A week or so later I received a phone call to arrange collection of the scrambler. This happened yesterday and the staff, were very attentive, made sure everything was ok for me and the bike started. Allowed me time to take it for a little run, make sure it was as I’d expect. Needless to say, everything was great. I rode the bike, from the Bolton factory, home to Wakefield, even trying a motorway section, a last minute change of decision, after seeing some undesirables in a small posse without helmets, close to the motorway junction around Rochdale. Basically, thank you CCM for your service, from start to finish was more than pleasing, that’s why I have given 5*! Pictures added, are a before & after frame replacement. I opted for the mobile Service of my bike currently a Maverick which BTW is an absolute blast to ride. Turned up on time , really efficient service and thorough. Levi was really nice chap and clearly was a skilled and knowledgeable technician and impressed me with his attention to detail in the service. Would I use this service again, absolutely.

I have owned a CCM for 18 months and have had dealings directly with the factory for servicing and parts.A technician came to my premises to service my bike which was extremely good service!Over the phone any dealings regarding parts etc has always been efficient and I am now negotiating a new machine from them that, (so far) has been easy....delivery expected soon.....I'm sure that, going by previous experience, it'll all be good (again).

Getting to the end of my motorbike days wanted a machine which would bring back memories of the big singles of the 60's. The CCM excelled with great sound light weight and perfect handling for twisty Welsh lanes. Its not a mile eater motorway or dual carriage way bike but it meets all of my expectations

My CCM Six (or 6ix) is just grin inspiring. Made in the UK, by a team that care about the bike and the customer through build, sales and after sales. Theior remote service guys are fab too.I can only ask why wouldn't you have one?

I've been to the factory a few times now (tour, collection & service). Overall I'm very happy with CCM; the bike and the company. The bike is a total hoot and the people friendly & helpful (even if internal communications sometimes misfire) . The only request I would have is a wider range of merchandise.

Had a great day at CCM in Bolton on 10th August 2023. Had a ride on the Stealth Bobber and Maverick Spirit. They where fantastic bikes. I love my CCM flat tracker! I love the family that is CCM, you are in a relationship with them, it's real and you talk to them to get stuff done. You are buying a hand built shed made bespoke bike, not a production line, robot quality assured thing, just remember that! Your bike has soul that extends yours!

I visited the factory several times, chose the Adventure version CCM450, which is now discontinued. It has an aluminium frame and swing arm pivot concentric with engine output sprocket, which is unique. This allows tighter chain tension, as suspension movement does not alter chain tension, and seems to give nice gear changes. Overall it's a pretty bike, and comes with throw-over panniers, luggage frame, top rack and 2X holdalls. Extras ordered were WP forks, sump guard, starter motor guard, embroidered higher seat, extended brake and gear pedals and stainless steel raked reg plate mounting. Nice.
